Shakira's album has been delayed in the U.S. until further notice. It's still being released overseas but not here. Amazon doesn't even have a date listed for the domestic release. Walmart is listing the release date as 12/28 while her official website just says "November" release.
That's odd. "She Wolf" has faded now, but it was doing decently enough to release the album.
Grammy FYC: Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak; Black Eyed Peas, The E.N.D.; John Legend, Evolver; Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up; David Guetta, One Love; Kelly Clarkson, "Already Gone"; Jordin Sparks, "Battlefield"; Kings Of Leon, "Use Somebody"; Maxwell, "Pretty Wings"

Who knows.
Thank U Double D
Bad, bad news. I think if the album is released overseas before U.S., her American fans are going to illegally download the album. So, the american version of "She Wolf" Album should be very different to the international version because could be a big flop.
Maybe she can record new tracks and include new songs in Spanish too, but, what about her another spanish album with Calle 13, Gustavo Cerati, colombian folk sounds and many more?
The sad thing here is that the american audience just like the "Hips dont lie-Wherever, whenever style" Shakira, the last album was a flop and then they re-released it with Hips Dont lie, America didnt embrace "Dont bother" which is a good rock song in the style of Shakira's "Donde Estan Los Ladrones" album, while overseas all her songs are hits. I dont want her to become suddenly a Ricky Martin or Gloria Estefan: "latinos with exotic rythms" cause Shakira is by far more than that.

This. You have said something that is very true and is making me say something that may not be correct to say: American audiences cannot conceive a Latina rocker. It's like if you correspond to a certain group (race, gender, you name it), and suddenly there is a role or a box that you fill and you just don't get out of it.
Americans only fall for Shakira's music whenever she makes them shake their arrhythmic hips.
