Money huh.. (inside joke)

Maxwell is doing his damn thing on R&B chart, well deserved, son. I hope "Bad Habit" can pick up some steam even though I hate the radio edit of this track.
I finally heard that Jay Sean's song. Its pretty alright, I guess.
I hope "Run This Town" can make it to #1 because I think the song is pretty hot.
Also, congrats to Black Eyed Peas, very impressive run. I want to see it there longer, tbh.

.... Even if you are a million miles away, I can still feel you in my bed, near me, touch me, feel me and even at the bottom of the sea, I can still hear you inside my head, telling me, touch me, feel me, and all the time you were telling me lies

Why does any fan want their artist's song to make the Top 10? How many times do you read on here that "so and so" has to make the Top 10 with this song! Why is Mariah any different? Top 10 hit sounds better than Top 20 hit. Even if she peaks at #10, that is still much better than what some people were predicting and hoping that she would do.

Why does it matter? I could careless where any of my favorite artists placed on this chart. It is quite repetitive to have the same discussion over one artist and hitting the top 10. Just leave it be, please.

So because YOU don't care, we can't discuss it, particularly in a thread devoted to the Hot 100 chart??
Sorry, but I'll mention it as much as I want to. If you don't wanna hear it, don't read it.

No, I never said that. I asked why it does matter? I look at the chart, true enough but I'm not going to go half crazy if this song or that song does not reach a certain spot.
Go as please, mention whatever you want. I'm not stopping you because its typical of you and your other little buddies to do so. So whatever, son.

Yes. God forbid people actually talk about chart position in this thread!
But I am grateful to have your permission, daddy.
Your so welcome, son. Grateful you are, indeed.

I'm kinda tired of BEP being at #1 on the Hot 100, I hope Jay Sean's "Down" gets that #1 spot next week. There really isn't much else on the Hot 100 that can dethrone BEP's "I Gotta Feeling". The Top 10 has been pretty boring for a while now. No new entries or anything. Damn. Maybe things may change next week. We'll see. As for Mariah, I think she may FINALLY crack the Top 10 next week, but I am not so sure she'll get to #1 with "Obsessed". I actually think the lyrics stand out in the song the most, as a whole, over production and whatnot.
Well to get an idea of the point spread that calculates the Hot 100 standings. Nothing is even close to overturning I Gotta Feeling in the upcoming month. Jay Sean's "Down" is basically 60 pts back which is about 60,000 in digital downloads or 60.00 million in radio audience impressions it would have to make up. This was the estimated point spread before (9.2.09) Wednesday's Hot 100 came out.
Digital Downloads + Radio Audience Impressions= Total Number
#1 I GOTTA FEELING 159,470 + 121.550 = 281,020 #2 DOWN 144,671 + 79.628 = 224,299 #3 PARTY IN THE U.S.A. 190,346 + 28.070 = 218,416 #4 YOU BELONG WITH ME 74,185 + 121.316 = 195,501 #5 USE SOMEBODY 102,596 + 91.766 = 194,362 #6 RUN THIS TOWN 130,779 + 56.039 = 186,838 #7 BEST I EVER HAD 57,100 + 103.310 = 160,410 #8 KNOCK YOU DOWN 47,978 + 102.883 = 150,861 #9 HOTEL ROOM SERVICE 81,822 + 64.701 = 146,523 #10 OBSESSED 72,725 + 71.111 = 144,836
