Wow...with those numbers, I wouldn't be surprised of Keri Hilson hit #2 or #1 on the Hot 100 this week. And Drake has some really impressive numbers too!
And I'm glad to see my girl Beyonce riding up the charts with "Ego." YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

It actually looks like Keri will remain at #3 on the Hot 100. Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow will be #1 with "I Gotta Feeling" at #2.

Really??? Well, I guess I'm ok with that...I mean, their album came out this past week, so I will congratulate them on having the number one album in the country, along with the number one (and number 2) singles in the country, lol.
But after this week, I need "Boom Boom Pow" to go away, haha.
If anyone can update the Billboard Hot 100 chart for this week I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

You know, I never really thought about liking them or not liking them. They just were. But now that I think about it, I'm not really a fan of anything they have done. I'm not particularly a fan of their sound. I didn't really like any of their albums. I'm not really a fan of any of them individually. I rarely am in love with any of their singles...just a couple I've liked a lot ("Where Is The Love" and "Don't Lie"). It just hit me seeing their two singles atop the Billboard, and realizing I don't like either of those songs.

I'm so hyped that "Best I Ever Had" is #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. VERY well-deserved #1 for him.
And of course, I'm so glad that Bee is still killin' 'em on the charts!
"Ego" jumped 16-6 on the R&B charts this week! Beyonce is truly putting it down and doing her thing. Only Alicia Keys rivals her as the top female R&B artist of this decade.
"Ego" marks Beyonce's fifteenth top 10 hit on that chart as a solo artist and twenty-sixth overall.
She has yet to release a flop single from this album. Every song has entered the top 10 on either the Hot 100 or the R&B charts. One thing she's done with this album is really prove herself is a viable pop musician. "If I Were A Boy" and "Halo" both did extremely well on the pop charts, but performed modestly on the R&B charts. I think it proves something that we should expect from her music in the future. Usually her music does huge on both charts by crossing over.
But then, she doesn't abandon her urban fans. "Ego" and "Diva" have done well on the R&B charts (performing modestly on the Hot 100, though). And of course, a HUGE crossover smash with "Single Ladies" (#1 on both charts).
Keep it up, Bee! Can't none of these other chicks out her stop you!
Alright, I'm done being a fanboy for the day.
Based on the charts, R&B Male is gonna be fun to watch. "Pretty Wings" and "sobeautiful" are in for the battle of a lifetime for that Grammy. Look at the top 10 on the R&B charts. Check the current positions of both songs, as well as their peak positions. That's gonna be one hell of a race. For once, R&B Female isn't gonna be the most interesting R&B category.
The only thing is that Maxwell's album hasn't come out yet. If it does well, then it puts him over the top and in frontrunner position for the win. Musiq's album came out late last year.

Congrats to my girl Beyonce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it girl!!! And yes, I love how her singles have performed well, thus far on the Hot 100! 4 singles in the top 20 on the Hot 100...get it girl!
And OMG, I am obesessed with Drake's song! I absolutely love it...and I can't wait until he actually releases a full album...I'm sure it will be nothing less than masterful....
This is gonna sound really odd, but I'm feeling Drake less as his stock rises. Don't get me wrong, his music is still tight, his talent is unquestionable, and I'm gonna support some Canadian content hard, but I kind of liked him better when he was just this cool underground emcee, and less, well, commercial (not that there's anything wrong with commercial). I think I had the same feelings (though, to a lesser extent) when M.I.A. became popular. Now, being a fan of these people have become a fad, whereas I loved their music for a long, long time before they ever became popular. It's sort of like the "secret" is out, and now that every one knows it, it's not that hot lol. I know I'm weird.
