My problem with Britney is that she doesn't do great choreography anymore. She is known for her dancing but she hasn't brought it in a long time. The choreography on the tour was good but could have been so much better. I find it hard to believe that she doesn't have the capability to do the moves she used to. Why do you guys think she doesn't dance like she used to?

Ever since her knee injury I don't think she's danced up to par as she was pre 2004.
I hope she can improve on her dance routines. "3" is decent in this regard but definitely could have been much better. I think the videos from her next album will bring in the more difficult choreography. Her "Circus" era was to revamp her career and bring on the "Comeback". It was successful. Now with that out of the way, her next project, she can bring the super hot dance routines again ie. "I'm A Slave 4 U", "Overprotected", "Me Against The Music", "You Drive Me (Crazy)", etc. I'm sure you get the gist of it all now..lol Well I'm hoping so.
I like your new song, it's catchy as hell and it's enjoyable nut I am very dissapointed by your new video. Ok I can understand the concept of simplicity and that's all fine and dandy but this is unacceptable coming from someone like you that gave us some great videos, just looks at how you worked that chair in the "Stronger" video, you need to be doing that for this video. I understand you went to hell and back and you were able to get your life back on track and kudos for that. Though you've reccently got some slack since people expected you to be a hot mess with your new album and had low expectations, but you were ok, you brought a good album, nice videos ands all that stuff, the normal stuff and was passed off as the return od the almighty and most people were ok with giviing you props since they all knew what a hot mess the "Blackout" era was. Now you established yourself again and we expect better from you. Ok I'll give you that this is a greatest hits single. For your next project the standards are going to be way higher, you're going to have to bring it. We don't have the image of you at the 2007 VMA's fresh on our head, we have one of Britney doing something decent with her carreer and some flashbacks of how she used to be. You're a good looking woman, young and seems to have her head together now and has a perfectly capable body (you still lack talent but that shouldn't make difference, back then you didn't either and you still slayed).
For this video there are a couple of things that you could of for it to be better,
First off, Hire a Stylist or someone to tell you what looks good on you or not. You look like Heidi Montag at the Miss Universe pageant trying to mimick 2001 Britney Spears. Not a good look. There are some things that are sexy and some are trashy. Your fishnet thights need a to go onto retirement, I know you got new ones that look all fancy and classy for this video but still they do not do you any favors. Also swimsuits are not Leotards. If you're just going to look pretty in your vidoes you might as well have people really talking about that. Wear the new couture outfits or have someone like Versace or The Blondes to make something specifically for you. It's Worked for Beyonce srtutting in Thierry Mugler/Gareth Pugh, Lady GaGa in Alexander McQueen and Kylie Minogue donning Jean Paul Gaultier. Also get rid of that hideous weave, either shock everyone and wear your natural short hair or as Janet Jackson/Beyonce to borrow their Weaveologists for the weekend. Your Make Up Looked Nice.
Second, show these heffas why you were that b!tch back then, work that damn pole like no other and bring back all the boys to the yard, have Justin Timberlake going crazy over that milkshake again and have Chris Pine and every other fine Hollywood actor knocking at your door, show Miley Cyrus, Linday Lohan, Brooke Hogan, Rihanna, and Heidi Montag how it's done and make Madonna and Christina jelous as hell.
For this next album I (As well as most people) expect you to go full out, last time was nice but not at the level that you are capable of. Go shoot the video underwater, with live animals, doing crazy moves, extravagant sets and what not. You're perfectly capable of doing doing so and the music is there, I don't see why you shouldn't. Your performances as well, we like to see the backup dancers do all the crazy stuff but people are paying/tunning in to see YOU do those things.
Good Luck Brit, A_Mb88

I thought the video was ok, not the greatest not her worse but just ok...
I think the major difference between the Britney of now, and the britney of 2004 is the lack of freedom (granted that freedom led to 2007 & 2008), what with the conservator and everything. The britney of 99-2008 took risks because she was a cuckoo bird, this britney doesn't take risks because those risks are sealed up. And everyone knows the crazier the artist the better the music (lady gaga, madonna, etc)
If the girl is interested in continuing her career, I hope with the next era, she's given the creative control she had with In the zone, and personally allowed to make her own decisions..then maybe she'll be crazy enough to dance with a snake on her shoulder, and confident enough to bring the fire. And yet at the same time i hope she doesn't shave her head again
Britney Spears Trades Plot for Simple, Sexy Dancing in “3″ Video
10/30/09, 12:20 pm EST
After teasing fans with 15-second clips on her Twitter yesterday, Britney Spears finally revealed the video for her Hot 100-topping single “3,” the new track that will feature on her upcoming The Singles Collection. You’d expect the video for a song about threesomes to be Rated-X, but Spears keeps things borderline tasteful with the “3″ vid, busting out some suggestive dance moves that are nowhere near as racy as the lyrics to “If U Seek Amy.” Instead, Spears and her cadre of dancers go the “Single Ladies” route by scaling back on sets and simply dancing in front of white and gray backgrounds. It’s not Britney’s best (it’s nowhere near her “Slave 4 U” clip), but we haven’t seen her dancing with this much conviction since the In the Zone era.
Watch all of Britney’s videos in our guide to her memorable clips.
Considering that today marks the two-year anniversary of Blackout, as Spears’ official Website points out, it’s clear Britney’s dance skills are getting back on track. (We’d love to forget her stripper pole-hugging performance in the “Gimme More” video — as well as her half-hearted moves on her recent Circus tour.) And this makes it a perfect time to look back at the Blackout album covers we’d like to see.
Britney JUST dropped her brand-new video, "3," and it's like she went to the sexy Olympics and took home the gold medal. Thanks, Brit, for skipping the sexy-cute dress-up antics of your "If U Seek Amy" and "Womanizer" videos and going back to your dance roots in your hottest video since "I'm A Slave 4 U."
"3"'s Chart Run on CHR/Pop Radio Airplay in its 5th week. This song has a chance of going to #1. Post Blackout Era, Britney continues to experience a lot of success at radio outlets. 41-26-14-12-9

Because of drugs, many kinds of drugs that people (bloggers and magazines) wrote she used in the past, work in the motion and coordination area of the brain.

I actually think the deluxe edition is an awesome deal, for someone who has never bought a BRITNEY SPEARS album. However, I wish she released a remix album of songs from BLACKOUT and CIRCUS along with 3 and some extra tracks, possibly the bonus tracks from CIRCUS. Now that would be an awesome buy.
AllMusicGuide Review gives "The Singles Collection" 5 stars out of 5.
Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Like 2004's Greatest Hits: My Prerogative, 2009's The Singles runs 17 tracks but the selected songs result in a very different listening experience. To begin with, the five years separating the two compilations were tumultuous ones for Britney Spears, but they resulted in a clutch of hits that kept her on the charts despite all the drama, hits that firmly entrenched Britney as a dance club diva. This stretch of six singles — "Gimme More," "Piece of Me," "Womanizer," "Circus," "If You Seek Amy," "Radar" — along with the excellent new Max Martin-written and produced single "3" (much better than any of the three new cuts on My Prerogative), help push The Singles away from teen pop and toward pure dance-pop bliss, a shift in tone underscored by the virtual absence of ballads (the only one included is "Everytime," which in this context plays a bit as a chill-out number). In some regards, giving her early sticky bubblegum and fluffy ballads a bit of a short shrift does downplay Britney's era of dominance, but it does result in a stronger overall listen, since there are no slow patches here, just a parade of relentless hooks and rhythms that wound up defining the sound of a decade.
Her Singles Collection is going to have shiity sales. I guess it was a pretty stupid move to release a GH album only after putting out 2 studio albums since her last GH. GH compilation in general aren't selling anymore. I guess its only meant for the diehard fans. Hey atleast "3" hit #1.
Of course the Singles Collection is going to have crappy sales. The idea made no sense considering she has already released a greatest hits album with the sames songs on it minus Blackout and Circus. Jive should have rereleased the album with 3 or 4 new songs. Where was the promotion for this? She could have done at least one TV performance/interview for this. The only televised performance she has done since Circus came out was Good Morning America and that was almost a year ago. She hasn't done one televised interview since the album came out. She easily could have done something at the VMAs this year but didn't. The videos for Radar and 3 were very underwhelming. I am glad Britney is having success again but I feel like she should be doing more promotion wise. Hopefully with the next album she will do more.

She's busy on tour in Australia at the moment so she really can't properly promote this in the USA. But I agree that she needs to do more promo especially when she releases her new album next year.
She could have done something before she left. Alot of artists are able to promote and tour at the same time. During her breaks between the tour this year she could have done things here and there. It would be nice to see a performance from Britney.
