"Circus" is up for Best Video at MTV's Europe Music Awards! Unfortunately you can't vote ('cause we'd all know who'd WIN if you could), but let's keep our fingers crossed that our girl still wins. The 2009 EMAs will take place in Berlin at the O2 World Arena on Nov. 5. Good luck, B! xx♥

Can't wait to hear "3".

The compilation disc is in celebration of her 10th Anniversary since she debuted. It makes more sense now as to why they're doing this.

Not another new Britney single? I see she's back to releasing albums every year. I doubt this compilation will sell that much. I mean, look at how Circus performed.

It will be interesting to see how much more it sells than Christina's greatest hits, won't it?

I think it's so great how all the divas of the decade (sans Christina aguilera) and biggest female sellers in general are releasing new material within the same range reminds me of 98/99

hell the fact that Christina Aguilera is trailing at the tail end reminds me of 99

AT first i didn't want to buy this greatest hits album, i have all the albums what's the point? but now my decision is starting to change I may actually buy it

Well it seems like Jive is putting a lot of thought and effort into the packaging of this compilation CD. This is definitely something that Britney's fanbase will buy. Not so much the general music buying segment. Anyways, this compilation is definitely for the fans.

What do you mean by "Look at How Circus performed"? If your trying to attribute something negative to this then you must be compeletely blind sighted by the amount of success Britney has had with this album.

This is the best album era for Britney single wise as she had back to back #1's on the Pop Airplay chart with "Womanizer" & "Circus", while "If U Seek Amy" peaked somewhere between #6-8 on the same chart. No other album era has Britney's singles performed this well on radio. She also landed a #1 Hot 100 hit with "Womanizer" and a #3 with "Circus". "If U Seek Amy peaked in the Top 20. Let's also not forget that all three of these singles were consistent on the charts, there wasn't that high peak due to digital sales then it crashed down the charts no where to be found.

Her album has sold 1.6 million copies to date, which she debuted with 505,000 copies. That's pretty successful these days. If you take a look at the album charts, there are tons and tons of albums struggling to even go Gold. Reaching a Platinum status in its own right is pretty impressive these days. Going Multi-Platinum is even more impressive and constitutes a Mega-seller caliber of an album.

She's still on her World Tour. The highest grossing tour of the year.

The "Circus" album helped her break some Billboard chart records as well.

For you to put down the success of this album is pretty subjective to say the least. I know your entitled to an opinion but you can't deny fact.

Sweetie, your girl has all the talent, charisma, and smarts in the world. She COULD be the number one artist in the world. Instead, she sits on her ass while Britney goes through hell and back, and continues to release great songs. I cannot wait to hear 3. I bet it's great, and I bet her new greatest hits ****s all over Christina's. The end.

Thank you Toronto and Rockstar for producing the evidence that speaks for itself.

I always found that pretty sad. It's true, Christina does have all the potential in the world to be top dog (She has the talent, her personal life is ok, money, good looking and what not) and then there's someone like Britney who has less talent and her personal life is wreck and does even even better. What's the logic behind that? In the US "Circus" sold 1.6M and counting while Christina's last album sold the same and that was back in 2006, while Britney is doing it in 2009.

Well Christina Aguilera waits too long to release albums. People may say she likes to take her time and put out quality material but she still shouldn't take this long. And was "Back To Basics" that much of high quality for that wait? There was a whole lot of filler on that album. I think its a stupid decision that she would rather concentrate on her acting role in "Burlesque" than release her brand new album which was supposed to be out this Fall. It isn't happening anymore and the album's pushed back to 2010 because she rather act in a movie that's destined to flop. Where are your priorities? Your a singer!!!! You guys are right, she has so much talent and her vocal capabilities are amazing. Poor girl just doesn't get the same amount of attention as Britney Spears though. It always seemed that she was always overshadowed by Britney even though Christina has amazing vocals and more Grammy awards.

Anyways, those are some good points you've brought up A_mb. I forgot how "Back To Basics" was a mediocre sales performer.

Attention all Kmart Shoppers! Some people/singers aren't worried about being #1, on top of the game, in the spotlight 24/7 or whatever you want to call it. Christina Aguilera HAS made her mark in pop music history. She is a highly respected musician known for her amazing vocal talent. She has nothing to prove. Her career isn't going anywhere. Mark my words!

For the record, Christina has never been overshadowed by Britney Spears. At least not to me. It's rather disgusting those two even get compared together. I'm not even going to list the obvious reasons. It will be interesting to see where Britney will be at in 10 years. Wait a minute, she'll be a crazy washed up has been, a tabloid whore and shaving her head bald again. Oops!...she's already done all that.

And so what if Britney's "Greatest Hits" sells more than Christina's. It will ultimately be about longevity, darling. Now, as you all were!

Oh good, then by that we can get rid of her and have her sing kareoke at a local bar, she should have longetivity there without a problem. She's definetly concerned about charting positions and being in the spotlight, every artist in the industry is, weather they would like to admit it or not. It's not like she's this big legendary artist that is just doing music for the heck of it like Stevie Wonder, that's someone who has nothing to prove. She's proven she's a good pop star with a big vocal rage that has 3 albums that have had OK sales, several singles that have charted fairly and that's it. Nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary.

If these 10 years Britney can do be a mess and still have her carrer then she should have no problem doing it again in 10 years.

In 10 years? I believe Britney Spears will have even built more of an icon of herself that she already has in 10 short years.

All bias aside, all talent aside for both Christina and Britney but the main difference I see between the two is that Britney Spears is known as a pop culture icon and holds that title well. All legendary icons go through the good, bad and ugly. Now, Christina Aguilera is amazing; however, I do not believe she has yet to reach that "icon" status that Britney has. No disrespect intended, this is just my opinion and I believe that as mention in 10 years this will still be the case between these two ladies.

I wouldn't say delusional but let's all just agree to disagree.

Time will tell all. When both of these ladies debuted I recall each of them were regarded as novelties and would fade quickly. Hasn't happened yet has it? For either one of them.

Don't worry, Goldderby. Gucci jumps to Christina's defense.

Let's be real here. I'm excited by Christina's new album, especially with the talent she's gathered. Way more excited then I've ever been for a Britney album.

BUT, to put Britney down, and say that her last album didn't do well and she has no business releasing a new one (albiet a greatest hits) is the talk of a retarded person. THE END. As she was.
