Yeah she's #49 on the Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Songs Charts. Here are her current Billboard Numbers:
Billboard Hot 100-Bubbling Under-#114 Billboard Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Songs-#49 Billboard Hot R+B/Hip-Hop Airplay-#60
Nothing Great yet but the song is continuing to rise!I hope she gets Number 1 soon!
I actually feel bad for Ashanti that her career is over because she seems like a sweet girl. She needed a killer first single to compensate for 1) lack of talent, 2) a third album that sold poorly, and 3) waiting four years to release a new album. I think her biggest problem, though, is number three. She made a fatal mistake when she waited four years between albums. As a result, I think she's completely forgotten by the masses now, other than her six fans of course. She needed a "Foolish" type song to get her name back out there and "The Way That I Love You" is not that. This album will flop.

LOL @ the "Her and her 6 fans" statement. Expect to get shiit on though by Classof2006..haha
She does have talent but she's just a generic R&B artist. What she failed to do is wait so long to release material therefore she has become irrelevant in the industry.

I still think that it's too early to say this will flop. The song is doing better than you expect.Im mean it's not doing as well as Usher and Mariah's songs but it's still doing good. And The Way That I Love You is way better than Foolish.Wait until the album actually drops to say that.Know really knows what's gonna happen.

She didnt wait too long. She waited for the perfect time to release this single and album.People were tired of her releasing albums every year so she took a break.Im not saying she is as anticipated as Mariah or Usher but I do believe this song will get her to the top once again!

Another "Foolish" type song? Why??? If she had done that, then she would just be conforming to the mediocrity many of us have labeled her with. “The Way That I Love You” is a huge step forward, not to mention her distancing herself from The Inc. (formerly Murder Inc.); she is on the right path.

The thing about it, though, is that Ashanti needs a hit. She hasn't been relevant for four years and it doesn't help matters that her last album sold as poorly as it did. If her last album was a huge success, I'd be able to give her the benefit of the doubt; however, it wasn't. Even if it meant conforming to the mediocrity that many of us have labeled her with, atleast she'd be playing it smart. As I see it, this is make or break time for Ashanti. If this album sells well, she may get another chance with the next one. However, if this album flops, she's pretty much done in the music industry. Needless to say, she can't afford to not to be releasing killer tracks at this point in time. I don't think the majority of people remembers who Ashanti is and "The Way That I Love You" is just not strong enough to make her name relevant again. She may be on the right path as far as making music that's more substantial than her past releases; however, in terms of having commercial success (which she needs at this point), she is on the wrong path.

So in other words, make crappy music in order to stay relevant??? I guess we will have to wait to see the outcome.
