Please - shut Beyonce the hell out of pop field.

Though I no longer find predicting Taylor Swift in every possible category amusing, her getting into Female Pop Vocal still sounds like a joke to me. Over Kelly Clarkson and Pink? Oh my goodness.

Best Dance Recording
Black Eyed Peas - Boom Boom Pow
Lady Gaga - Poker Face
David Guetta & Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over
Madonna - Celebration
Britney Spears - Womanizer

Alternate: Cascada - Evacuate the Dancefloor

I think there's a chance Spears doesn't make it due to her 2 submissions splitting the vote. I don't think BEP are by any means locks here either. Evacuate is taking off at the right time to make it.

I can agree with this. As much as I would love GaGa to win it, she doesn't have this as a lock. "When Love Takes Over" will give it a run for the win. I would not be surprised if it did win. Both are equally deserving.

Please, shut the hell up about MY predictions!

And why do you care if I predict Taylor Swift? Even if I want to predict her over Barbra Streisand, they're MY predictions!

Did you happen to attend one of the few Chinese junior highs that have taught Narcissism as a core curriculum instead of English?

Lame, dude. Nice try, though.

But in all seriousness, why so much Taylor Swift hate? Yes, she's not the best vocalist out there, but I don't really remember Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" being exactly vocal acrobatics and it got nominated.

It's a pop hit, it's a track from one of the best selling albums of '09, an album that has also had rave reviews, so why not.

Besides, I don't like Pink's song and "Already Gone" is a "Halo" rehash.

And to answer your desperate attempt at sarcasm, no, just no.

Solid predictions though I'll replace Cascada with Spears. Aside from Guetta, there has never been a purely mainstream line up for Dance Recording, so I guess Britney's 2 songs will shut her out in the category.

I'd love for When Love Takes Over takes the award.

I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

For the first time in years, I really think that it might be pretty easy to predict the Pop Female nominees. These are my current predictions:

"Halo," Beyoncé
"I Didn't Know My Own Strength," Whitney Houston
"Sober," Pink
"Waking Up In Vegas," Katy Perry
"You Belong With Me," Taylor Swift

If these are the nominees, then I think we have a battle between Beyoncé and Taylor Swift (how ironic), with Pink as a spoiler.

Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson:
" The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."

Baltimore Examiner (concert review):
"Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."

"Music is powerful, it's a drug that makes your inhibitions go away and leaves your vulnerabilities exposed" - KC

I think people are putting too many pop acts there, and figetting about more actaul electronica nominees that get in always.

I mean, you really think that Pet Shop Boys won't get nommed for Best Dance Recording when Cascada doesn't the 10th of respect this guys do?

There are many really interesting electronic songs, that actually couls very well win this category. For example, "Kids". If that can get a nomination this year, I highly doubt they won't get it nommed (and possibly win), even though MGMT didn't get the nod last year.

I think Pink will win BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM for "Funhouse". The album overall is solid and she's has had hit after hit with the singles not only in the USA but worldwide.

She might even win Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Sober." I think she is the surest bet for a nomination. I don't see her getting snubbed. The other spots are up for grabs. What do you think?

I hope Pink wins a Grammy this year. She's long overdue for another win.

I would actually vote for Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" for Female Pop Vocal and Pink for Pop Vocal Album. Is Pink your preference for both categories?
