This is a continuation of the previous Britney Spears thread. She's onto Thread #4 and she's only on her 2nd single. The "Piece of Me" music video premiered not too long ago with 2 versions and the song is making big gains at radio lately.

Love her or Hate her, lots of people still like to talk about her and are enjoying her new album Blackout.

Any discussions about Britney Spears must go in this thread.

Blackout's track list:

1. "Gimme More"
2. "Piece of Me"
3. "Radar"
4. "Break the Ice"
5. "Heaven on Earth"
6. "Get Naked (I Got a Plan)"
7. "Freakshow"
8. "Toy Soldier"
9. "Hot as Ice"
10. "Ooh Ooh Baby"
11. "Perfect Lover"
12. "Why Should I Be Sad"

Good choices. She could go for a while with singles as I can easily see "Get Naked", "Freakshow", and "Break The Ice" all being released as well.

Britney's sixteen year old sister Jamie Lynn is pregnant and no one in Britney's family bothered to tell her about it.

On another note, I was pleasantly surprised by the "Piece of Me" video. She seems really into it and look likes she is having fun. She looks good too. I hope she can start doing good performances again sometime soon.

Now Britney is up on TMZ denying her sister's pregnancy.

That would be the exact same pregnancy that both her sister and her mother have confirmed.

I can see it now at Chez Spears (aka the Four Seasons)-- Britney frantically snorting meth and slurping frapps, and complaining about that "bitch" Jamie Lynn, who she thought was "kin" stealing her thunder.

There are two ways Britney can top this:

(a) Marry Sam Lufti and announce that she is pregnant with his child....or....

(b) Finally overdose.

I could NOT believe it when I heard Jamie Lynn was pregnant. That is honestly the most shocking bit of celebrity news I think I have ever heard.

as much of a self-inflicted trainwreck as britney is, i don't find it funny or cool to joke about her overdosing.

I most definitely agree.

Back to the music, I am hoping for "Break the Ice" to be released sometime, however; I agree that "Radar" and "Toy Soldier" would make exceptional singles.

Look back at my original post -- the only way for Britney to top this, in terms of media coverage, is to OD.

Look, we all know Britney is going to go via overdose. And, given the path she is on, I think an overdose would be preferable.

Wouldn't it be nice to remember Britney with some semblance of dignity?

And not drag this out until one day, Britney, at age 50 and a 400 lb. shut-in, finally takes that last big slurp of a frapp, and slumps forward in a heart attack, with the papparazzi shuttering outside her door?

Let's let the old girl have a bit of what she used to have, and let her go out the Marilyn way.

Speaking of Marilyn, I have to say...I miss the old days of celebrity deaths.

With the exception of Mama Cass choking on a ham sandwich, they all went so classy. Marilyn with pills and booze? Pure class and left a beautiful corpse. James Dean in a car wreck? Way to go out in a blaze of glory, dude.

But now? Britney with meth and frapps?

That's just dirty.

Who thinks and wastes time writing all this shiit honestly? There are a lot of members on this board that don't like Britney but atleast they have better stuff to do with their time then trolling a thread.

my sentiments exactly. i didn't even finish reading the post. i'm not a huge britney fan. i think she's mediocre at best but she's a human being. and i don't see her as completely out of control. there are at least 10 other celebs i can see dying tragically before britney. all of this is unnecessary.

Man, I listened to the album a lot this weekend. If it ended as strong as it started, it would be damn close to perfect. As it is, "Ooh ohh Baby" is really the only song I can tolerate after like track 8. Still, a damn good album, and I hope "Piece of Me" does well. It's a damn good track.

I agree.

A friend and I were IM'ing today, and she asked me, "Okay, so who do you see OD'ing first -- Britney Spears or Amy Winehouse?"

I totally called Winehouse and she agreed.

And that one makes me kind of upset, because Amy Winehouse really does rock as a musician.

Am I right or am I right?

Aren't we overdue for a good celebrity death?

I mean.

When Anna Nicole Smith died, and everyone was going off that she was "our Marilyn," all I could think was, "Whatever."

If Marilyn Monroe was a candle in the wind, Anna Nicole was a fart in the wind.

BTW...those of you who are pleading for me to have sympathy on Unfitney because she is a "human being"...spare me.

Anyone who inflicts fetal alcohol syndrome on her youngest child, in my book, moves from the column of "human being" to "used tampon."
