Actually I was listening to "Bye Bye" the other day, and was struck by how similiar the melody and production is to "We Belong Together". You can sing the lyrics of WBT to "Bye Bye" and it works. You can do the same with "Shake It Off" lyrics to "Cruise Control".
That's not good, Mariah.

Same producers = same kind of beats = same kinds of tempos, which means you can do that to pretty much a wide array of songs if you really try.
I do it and DJ's do it ALL the time when mixing music.

Hmmm....I don't see that at all. How does it "work?" Just listened to them and definitely don't think you can sing the lyrics to "Shake it Off" and "Cruise Control" Two totally different songs production-wise.
Hell, I can say that I can sing the lyrics of "Baby One More Time" with "I Will Always Love You." Doesn't mean it matches.
