I'm so excited for this episode. I'm trying to catch up on the second half of season 2 and the first half of season 3 before Britney's episode airs!
Question: Do you think Britney's much hyped and anticipated appearance will boost HIMYM's ratings and if so, by how much?
For Your Grammy Consideration:Blackout, Britney Spears

I do not know by how much, but I can definitely say there will be some sort of ratings boost. I, who do not watch the series, will tune in to watch Ms. Spears.

A re-release maybe.. is interesting cus in the post of the most important artist of this decade there's a lot of bashing to britney, and i think she's done the coolest pop songs.. i mean she was doing im a slave 4 u before all the neptunes hype.. and toxic before all the dance stuff of rhianna and justin songs.. I mean she has sold 83 million records so far.. she truly remake her sound with every album-

I always thought "I'm A Slave 4 U" was way beyond its time. The song was released in 2001 and still was a hit, if this was released 3-4 years later it would have been so much more successful.

There's a re-release of "Blackout" scheduled for the 4th quarter this year. This just doesn't seem like enough for something big like a 10 year Anniversary.
I'd love the full album video thing you mentioned but it would then look like Britney was trying to copy Beyonce.
I wonder when her legal and custody battle will be resolved. She's got 7-8 months until the 10 year mark. I believe "Baby One More Time" debuted in late October/early Novemeber.

It sounds pretty good. Obviously, the original version is great, but Fabolous' part is still good. Honestly, anything that could possibly get it more exposure and airplay is a good thing.

I agree. If I'm A Slave 4 U" was on In The Zone it would have been a much bigger hit.
Also has it been confirmed that she is re-releasing the album in the fall.
