Yeah, I just heard about it now. She's refusing to hand over the kids tonight and wants them to stay over with her. An ambulance was also called in. Supposedly Britney is being treated. I hope she didn't try to harm herself. This is getting all too crazy
Britney is having a tough time saying GOODBYE to her children??????
THAT'S a new one.
This is after all, the woman who partied her ass off once she found out she lost custody.
I was reading a post on another site, and another poster pointed out that, given all of the hijinks that Britney has pulled in pushing her kids further and further away from her, and given how little effort she has actually put into actually GETTING THEM BACK LEGALLY, that she has completely given up on life.
I think it's at the point where we're talking within a few days or weeks when this broad ends up in the morgue.
So, if anyone out there wants to make a few bucks, make sure you put her in your "Celebrity Death Pool of 2008."
Anyways, I do hope she seeks help this time around for whatever problems she does have. Could this be her rock bottom?? I hope so because the only way for her to recover and get fully better is to hit that point.
She clearly has some serious problems. While I feel bad for her, someone needs to step in and take the kids away for good. No overnight stays, no unsupervised visits at all. Britney is of an age where no one can force her to fix her problems, but at least someone can save the kids.

Britney Spears taken to hospital for tests
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Pop star Britney Spears was taken to hospital for tests to see if she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs and for a psychological evaluation after police were called to her home Thursday night to mediate a custody dispute, a police spokesman said.
Spears appeared to be conscious as she was rolled out of her Studio City home on a gurney about three hours after police and ambulances arrived there.
The children were returned to their father, Kevin Federline, who has primary legal custody of the two sons, a police spokesman said.
Doctors at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles will decide whether to invoke a California law that allows a patient to be held for psychological evaluation for 72 hours, the police spokesman said.
Aerial video provided by local television station helicopters showed Spears on a stretcher and surrounded by police and paramedics as it was rolled to an ambulance near her home. Watch Britney being taken from her home on a stretcher »
Spears has been in a heated battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline over custody of their two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
Federline, Spears' former backup dancer, holds primary custody of the children. Spears has been in trouble with the court earlier concerning her compliance with court orders in the custody case.

I can't believe you just said that.
Thanks for checking in, Britney.
Actually, who am I kidding?
Brit's typing skills aren't as good as you have demonstrated.
Thanks for checking in, Sean Preston.
the most disgusting thing about people like Biff McFume is that they post things like this under the guise of anonymity. it's cowardly and transparent. if you go to any message board about ANY topic (britney, the war in iraq, gays, republicans, anything) the most revolting comments come from people who don't have the balls to show their real name or face. i guess that's the luxury of the internet. but, honestly, if you wouldn't put those comments next to a picture of your face and full name, don't say it. it's just pathetic, not edgy.
This was bound to happen at some point. She clearly has a very serious mental problem. She needs months of therapy and needs to leave L.A for a long time. Hopefully this is the time she will get help and her family will go to her and not leave her side.

Sigh...no mug shot, but it's good news for Britney. The Insider reports that Brit Brit will not be charged for last night's standoff. The LAPD said, "We aren't charging her with anything at this time. She is at the (hospital) for her own health and welfare." She also tested negative for booze and drugs.
KFed is also at the court right now reports TMZ. He is at an emergency hearing with his lawyer to reportedly ask for Brit's visitations to be pulled. KFed's attorney and Brit's attorney met this morning and will meet again this afternoon. KFed may testify this afternoon.
Access Hollywood spoke to Lynne Spears who was apparently crying. Crocodile tears! She told them, “Just say prayers." Yeah prayers that the checks don't stop coming in. Jamie Lynn is also at the hospital with Brit and her father.
Brit is currently on 72-hour hold, but will most likely stay longer.
You know Starbucks is freaking out! Their stock is going to plummet!
Poor Britney, I've never seen someone fall from grace in such a short time. I really did like her songs and all, and even to this day they're still good. Hope she's well and stays strong. I hate that the Paparazzi are following everything thats happened. There ain't no more privacy left in this world. Loving Piece of Me by the way, if only the person she personified in the song came out in real life.
I'm sorry, but the best option would be to actually pull the visitations from Brit. She is in no condition to even visit with her two kids, I mean look what happens when she is around them, she causes a scene and in the end the children on the ones who have to suffer and go through it all with her.
I do not know the parenting capabilities of Kfed, but at this point anything is better than the constant danger and messes Brit puts her children in. If she truly loved her kids she would try and get help, get her act together, and THEN try and be a mommy.
AUTHORITIES: BRITNEY SPEARS WAS NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE
January 04, 2008
Although police initially suspected Britney Spears was "under the influence of an unknown substance" during a nearly three-hour standoff with police Thursday night, authorities have since determined Spears was clean and sober.
According to Los Angeles police Officer Ana Aguirre, there was no evidence the pop star had been drinking or doing drugs during the Jan. 3 incident.
"Our understanding is that was not the case," she said.
"There was a time where she was within the residence and wasn't available to be speaking to the officers, apparently," added Aguirre. "There was no threat to the children."
Aguirre confirmed both Spears' children were turned over to her ex-husband Kevin Federline and the pop star was taken to the hospital.
"We're not aware of any type of injuries that she sustained" and she was not combative with authorities, Aguirre said.
Spears is currently at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she is reportedly on a 72-hour lockdown for mental evaluation.
The troubled singer's father, Jamie, reportedly has been at the hospital, by his daughter's side.
I've tried to have sympathy for her, but I find it hard to.
What attempts has she made to turn this situation around? You'd think she would have had some sort of personal realization when she lost physical custody back in '07.
Her lack of concern for her own welfare, as well as that of her children is evident...she really doesn't give a damn, and it shows.
If she doesn't care, then why should anyone else?
The funny thing here is that KFed is coming out of this situation looking like the good one.
More proof that all one good ****head needs is another ****head, Entertainment Tonight online has the following:
DR. PHIL offers ET his candid impressions of BRITNEY SPEARS' current condition:
"My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning in her room at Cedars leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention. She was released moments before my arrival and was packing when I entered the room. We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."
Dr. Phil will share more of his thoughts and the help he thinks Britney needs on his daytime talks show this week.
