FREED Britney Spears is set to reveal all about her week of hell next week on a TV SHOW.
She will bare her soul to celebrity shrink Dr Phil McGraw, a top daytime talk host, after he dashed to her hospital bedside and did a deal yesterday.
“My meeting with Britney leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention,” he said in an exclusive statement to Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.
She records the show tomorrow for screening on Wednesday. News clips are predicted to pull a world audience of more than a BILLION. A pal said: “It was all Britney’s mum’s idea.”

I really can't see it happening since it didn't seem like she was too happy that she was ambushed by him in the hospital. That maybe the only thing that I would agree with her on at this point, since I too would have been angry if some quack doctor came into talk to me not because he was 100% concerned about my life but also because he wanted more ratings for his show. I know she doesn't want anyone but "yes" people around her, which is part of her problem, but it doesn't mean that she wants to be used by everyone either.
I hope for her sake that she doesn't do it because I don't see any reason for her to go on that show when she's not prepared for it just like I don't think she should have been interviewed by Matt Lauer where she did her own make-up and wardrobe or opened the VMA's when she obviously wasn't in any condition to do it. If she does go back out there, as much as I don't like her for being so manufactured, she really does need a great team behind her that she listens to if she wants to actually continue with her career once she gets help of course. She seems very much like Tom Cruise now. He had Pat Kingsley behind him, and while he was with her, no one ever saw the crazy. It was there, but just hidden very well. Now that he doesn't have Kingsley, and he seems to be trying to do whatever he wants to, he's become a big joke. So even if she doesn't want to listen to anyone anymore it seems, if she ever wants her career back, she needs to be smart again about having a great team behind her and not some hangers on to act as her publicist like that Sam guy.
More importantly, for her sake she shouldn't do it until she gets real treatment and not just for 24 hours, but probably at least for six months if not longer. Besides rebelling against anyone that tells her what to do even if it's in her own best interest like her lawyers, the judge, etc., part of her problem is that she craves the spotlight too much. I mean she looked too much like Norma Desmond in some of the pictures where she was carted off to Cedars Sinai. I know the paparazzi are real vultures, and the police shouldn't let them behave the way they do especially when she was being taken away, but she brings a lot of in on herself too because she's so addicted to the spotlight having to go out all the time to be photographed even after being released from the hospital. I really do think one of the reasons she snapped so publically was because she couldn't handle her sister getting more attention lately combined with her acting out about the deposition that day where things obviously didn't go her way at all.-* So the last thing she needs to do right now is go on a television show with a famewhore doctor to meet with her equally troubled family.
-*Remember the last time that she flipped out so publically was when she shaved her head and smashed the paparazzi's car with her umbrella. That day she tried to go to see her kids, but when Kevin Federline said no, we saw all what happened afterwards. She can't handle being told no which lead her to flipping out that time, yet she also wants all eyes on her even if it's for questionable behavior, ie., the hairshop reporting that had her people open up the blinds of the shop, so that she could be photographed shaving her head. It's just a bad combination all around, and she really needs to go away for a long time to get away from all the enablers who excuse her bad behavior blaming on everyone else but her, and also to conquer her addiction for fame or infamy as it were right now.
I don't care for her talent or songs, but she is a still a human and I really hope she can get herself together for her sake and the children. I really don't want to see her die of early age. And some of the comments in this thread are disgusting, but I guess some think its cool or funny.

Really? Weird. I guess they are gonna be pushing singles for a while. Good for them.

I guess Jive is hoping Britney will be in good mental shape at this date to actually start promoting this album.

So are they going to wait a few months and then re-promote the album with new songs and such?
the "new" songs will be.. "Hooked On It" (a.k.a "Sugarfall") and the ballad "Let Go"
but i still dont believe that she will promote this album at all.. they maybe will release "radar" as a radio single.. but i doubt she will make a new video..
I Swear this woman has the potential to sell so much but she should get her goddam life together, she should realize she is so lucky to have all the things she has even with the little talent she has but she made up for it with her dancing and surprising performances she gave in the past, She should do that again
Originally posted by Rock Star: let's talk about her possible grammy nominations:
best dance recording - piece of me/gimme more best female pop vocal performance - radar/break the ice best pop vocal album - blackout
and if she releases like 3 more hit singles she might have album of the year.
Let me just state the obvious, I'm a fan of hers but I doubt Britney will receive an Album of the Year nomination even though this is an excellent album. Maybe if she was in a better state and wasn't constantly in the news for her personal struggles rather than her music.
"Gimme More" was released during the eligibility period for this years Grammys. But for some odd reason, her record label didn't submit "Gimme More" into the Best Dance Recording category.
I think she may just end up with another Best Dance Recording nomination at next years Grammys for "Piece of Me",that's probably it even though I personally think "Blackout" would deserve a Pop Album nomination.

Where did you hear that from?
From what I've been reading over the past months, Britney's still going in and out of the recording studio laying down new tracks. Possibly we'll get new tracks that haven't leaked yet. That would make much more sense. Will her fans repurchase Blackout when they already have downloaded all these leaked tracks back in 2007, or would they love to hear newly recorded tracks? I would chose option number 2 :P
