"Crazy Wonderful" -- This is a cool song. I love the groove and the catchy chorus. Kind of Mariah-esque -- like a mid-tempo "Heartbreaker." A-
"Crush" -- Pretty enjoyable track, with the best part of it being the production. B+
"Some Like It" -- Fierce song. I love the energy in the production. The attitude is kinda hot. But this song seems to tip-toe between being brilliant or just a wreck lol. I think I like it...I think. B+
"That's What U R" -- I like what she's trying to do here, but I'm not convinced at her seducing skills. I've heard Janet and Beyonce pull off similar songs a lot more convincingly. But the song itself is pretty good. B
"Hate2LoveU" -- I was waiting for her to start singing the lyrics to "1 Thing." It sounds like the same song, production-wise. B
"Paint Me Over" -- This song reminds me of Alicia's "Teenage Love Affair" in that it sounds nice overall, but there's nothing memorable about it. It's particularly missing a rewarding melody. B
"All Roads (Because I Love It)" -- On one hand, I think the melody is pretty good. The vocals I'm not too sure about. She does sound like she's stretching it, and I don't think she fully accomplishes what she intended to do emotionally with it. B

I don't think that direction could hurt. If anything, it would put her back into the public conscious again. If she wants to stick around, she's gonna have to grab up the hottest producers and songwriters because, at this point, nobody is even thinking about her.
She needs a team that can help her land some tracks to put her back on the R&B map. After people have started talking about her again, then she could try something different. There's no shortage of great female vocalists in R&B right now (Fantasia, Alicia, Beyonce, Keyshia, Mary, Mariah, etc.) and there's something unique that stands out about each of them. With Amerie not being as talented as those (I'm just being real here), she needs some CRAZY hot material. It worked very well for Rihanna, and she isn't as talented as Amerie. So that shows you what a great team and great material can do for you commercially.

A source tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Amerie's first two albums did well, but she's ready to step it up a gear now. She was offered a deal too good to turn down and the promise to build upon her reputation for classy and sexy R&B."
Amerie hopes to follow in the footsteps of her new label mate Rihanna, whose career enjoyed a global boost after Def Jam secured the power track "Umbrella" for her last year.
things are finally looking good for her..i also heard that shes in atlanta right now working on her new album (with l.a reid heading up her album)and she's gonna work with..bryan m.cox, bangledesh, No ID,ne-yo, tricky stewart, adonis, and others!!!!
