- Michael Jackson sweeping the 1983 Grammy Awards
- Usher winning R&B Male two consecutive years in a row

- Alison Krauss & Robert Plant winning AOTY in 2009. (Yes!)
- Dixie Chicks winning AOTY, ROTY & SOTY in 2007.
- Duffy winning Pop Vocal Album in 2009.
- Eric Clapton winning Male Pop in 1993, 1997 and 1999.
- Luther Vandross winning SOTY in 2004 for "Dance With My Father"

The more I think about this topic, the more I realize that what could have been some of the best Grammy wins ever didn't happen.
