* Seal winning Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, ROTY and SOTY for "Kiss From a Rose"
* Whitney Houston winning Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and ROTY for "I Will Always Love You"; Her win in AOTY for The Bodyguard was pretty cool, too.
* Method Man & Mary J. Blige winning Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for "I'll Be There/You're All I Need"
* The Roots & Erykah Badu winning Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for "You Got Me" (still pretty confused as to why Eve didn't receive a Grammy for it, though.)
* Alicia Keys winning Best R&B Song for "You Don't Know My Name"
* Mariah Carey winning Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for "Vision of Love"
* Lauryn Hill winning five of her Grammys at the 1999 Grammy Awards
* Outkast winning Best Rap Album for Stankonia

These are all I can think of right now.

I third that! LOL

For me:

- Michael Jackson's 1983 sweep with Thriller
- Lauryn Hill's sweep in 1999
- All Carrie Underwood wins
- Beyoncé's sweep in 2004
- Alicia Keys' sweep in 2002
- All Kirk Franklin wins
- All Toni Braxton wins

I'll think of more individual wins later. These are pretty much collective artist wins.

The more I think about this topic, the more I realize that what could have been some of the best Grammy wins ever didn't happen.

Kelly Clarkson's both wins. Not only was she deserving but it was nice to see someone who was truly taken back with her wins.

Seeing the Dixie Chicks clean house a few years back was nice also.
