I didn't love that Robyn/Snoop Dogg remix. I think I would have liked it better had Robyn done her own take on the song, and Snoop not been in it at all.

No ****.

huggle

But I guess I meant I like the "Sexual Explosion" lyrics, so then it wouldn't be a straight cover, would it? I don't really know what it would be then.

I also picked up Robyn's "Rakamonie Ep" (I just couldn't wait for the album), and The White Stripes' "Conquest Ep". Big ups to the White Stripes "It's My Fault for Being Famous". It's not a single, but it's awesome.

Have any of you heard British Sea Power's Do You Like Rock Music??

And I just came across this album like an hour ago and I'm loving it: The Raveonettes' (yeah I had no idea who they were either) Lust Lust Lust.

So good.

I have heard a few songs by British Sea Power, but nothing is sticking out in my head right now.

And, actually, I do like the raveonettes. I almost bought their "Pretty In Black" album because I adored that song "Love In a Trashcan". I've been listening to their songs on myspace, sound good, and somewhere (I think Slant) said "Lust Lust Lust Lust" is one of the best albums in a while.

In short, I might pick up their album. I'm sure its cheap.

ALSO, can't stop playing Hot Chip all day today. I definitly think I will have to pick up their stuff.

I basically listen to music all the time. I have a bit of a drive into work and school (well traffic makes it long) so I load up the iPod, hook it up to the car stereo system, and listen to music there and back. I work in a lab and there's always music playing in the background (and I'm the DJ, I've basically taken charge of the music played lol). I listen to music when I go to the gym (iPod it), and I go pretty often. When I get home from all of that, in the evenings (especially when my gf is studying and my daughter's asleep) I am hunting music down online. It's basically constant if I'm by myself. The only place I don't listen to music when I'm in class or school labs.

I don't care the release date and what country, but Robyn's self titled might be the best album released in the past five years. No freaking exageration. It's beyond brilliant.

And yes, I stole it. But when it finally hits stateside, I will get a legit copy the day it comes out.

"Be Mine!" might also be the best song of the 00's.

Completely agree. Even though it's a December 07 release in the US, I consider it a 2008 album b/c all the singles are gonna hit us and peak this year. And it tops my album list, as you can see above. It's the best rap album since Clipse's Hell Hath No Fury.
