I feel it is time that we begin discussing the most unintelligible songs of all time.

I was watching VH1 Classic this morning and The Fine Young Cannibals song "She Drives Me Crazy" came on. For the longest time, i have had trouble figuring out what he is singing. Especially part of the chorus. The lyric is "She drives me crazy, I can't (then I have no idea what he says after that.)

I also think "Smells Like Teen Spirit" though a cool song, is also a bit unintelligible. Heck, Weird Al parodied the song for that reason.

Does anyone else want to share some of their picks?

After all these years of hearing and liking that song, I thought that I couldn't figure out what it said just because I wasn't a native speaker of English. I can't believe some other people out there had the same problem with that song. LOL.

By the way, I googled those lyrics.

I will think of some other unintelligible songs.

Some parts on "Naughty Girl" by Beyonce are really hard to understand.

But I have a question.

What if you understand what they say, but don't really get the sense? That's the case with almost ALL of the Red Hot Chili Peppers catalog.

Alot of Rap Songs are hard to understand because the lyrics are out of this world and the way some of them rap.

Especially Twista. I can NEVER understand anything he is saying.

Some of Beyonce's uptempo songs like "Ring The Alarm" are kind of hard to understand. Especially when she sings with that 200 MPH Vibrato!LOL

"Desert Rose" by Sting; it doesn't help that some of the song isn't even in English lol

Shaggy It wasn't me. The chorus, ok i got that down, but the verses i just make up words and it sucks

and any shabba ranks (don't think anyone on here listens to him), my gosh

Yeah most of Beyonce's Uptempo songs are hard to understand.

Also some by the Kings of Leons, that's due to the lead singers diction, he speaks a bit quirky but I like that from him.

Nickleback/Chad Kroeger songs as well, but its due to his annoying growling in every song, on some it works but not on EVERY SINGLE ONE! Just sing simple, He has a great voice but that's just to much, he's the male equivalent to Christina Aguilera for me.

Britney Spears "3" - the lyrics are so hard to make out and understand that most people don't even know it's a song about threesomes

Just about every song by Beyonce and Shakira.
