I'm not sure how reliable Amazon is with their dates, but Kelly Clarkson is suppose to release her 4th album this fall, and Amazon has it out for Nov. 18th:

Product Details
Audio CD (November 18, 2008)
Label: Sony BMG
ASIN: B001AQXJ9W

AMAZON LINK

Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson:
" The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."

Baltimore Examiner (concert review):
"Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."

"Music is powerful, it's a drug that makes your inhibitions go away and leaves your vulnerabilities exposed" - KC

Is she really entitling her album Virtuoso Intellect? I thought that was rumor started by one of her fans. It sounds like a Beastie Boys album title.

They keep pushing Missy Elliot album back. I hope Kelly Clarkson isn't releasing a new album so soon. So David Archuleta is releasing his album before David Cook's?

If Kelly's last cd My December had been successful, I could see where you could say she's releasing too soon, but, it didn't, and she hasn't had a song on radio in over a year. I don't think it's too soon. It's not like people are going to be sick of her, when a lot of people are wondering what happened to her, and they think she has disappeared.

Good question. Haven't heard much about it lately. Wouldn't surprise me if it got delayed again for some reason. Hopefully she isn't back on the crack. Crack is whack. Or maybe she realizes that there is no way she is going to be able to compete in sales and airplay with the Rihanna's, Beyonce's, Jordan's and decided to throw in the towel.

It's interesting...I wonder if she was approached to participate in the "Just Stand Up" cancer single...you'd think she'd have at least been asked.

According to Billboard...

Oct. 28
Evolver, John Legend

It's about damn time. This album has been delayed for quite awhile. I like "Green Light;" it's an interesting track for Legend.

Yeah I don't think it's too soon for KC to release a new album. My December flopped hard and she needs a strong album (and strong album sales) to revive her career. And she can't afford to way too long or else her fanbase will move on. It's smart for KC to release during the holiday season, too, because her album will probably be a big seller.

I agree with DoubleD on Kelly's Release, she only had one Single from the album and it didn't do as well as it was expected, she should release it.

I just think Kelly Clarkson should've waited until sometime next year to release the new album. I mean, with the major flop of her last album, I don't think Kelly will be able to compete with the slew of new releases coming out during the holiday season.

first of all...Solange can go over to Mariah and take the worst title ever crow from her....I mean I thought I would never see something this ridiculous, I thought Nick Lachey's "Soul-O" was as idiotic as it could get.....

YEI! Gym Class Heroes, Keane and Missy...hope she puts something good out for a change, something different and without a Dave Mayers video....

Excited for Pink too....and Dido? About time, what the f*ck has she been doing? How long has it been? 4 years?

*****cat Dolls...really? I wonder why they wait so much for an album release, they've had a single out for so long now....Same with Nelly...didn't that single come out and flop months ago?

Kristy Lee Cook is the first 2008 idol to release an album? That's surprising....A second Kelly Pickler album? Wow...

Nah...I didn't say she would be afraid. Where did the word afraid appear in my post? I think it is pretty much a fact that she is going to have a hard time competing with the younger crowd of female artists. That was my point.

Yeah it feels like the P*ssycat Dolls' single peaked weeks ago. Their album should've been out. I don't think their new album is D.O.A., though. I bet their label has a few more hits up their sleeve.

And Nelly is on his FIFTH single and the album hasn't even been released yet. I think Brass Knuckles is definitely D.O.A. People aren't really feeling Nelly anymore and rightfully so. His new stuff is awful. Out of his five singles, "Party People" (w/Fergie) is the only single that is/was worth a damn.

FIVE singles? What (and when) the hell was that? was he trying and trying and trying to see which one would hit? I don't know what would be worse, releasing it or not releasing it ever....

Why do these people get so bad? Not that Suit-Sweat was amazing, but common, I expected AT LEAST a decent single....people didn't even pay attention, maybe it's because he waited too long and people moved on....
