Christina's new release will be a Greatest Hits compilation.
It seems a little early in her career for a greatest hits album, but, whatever
Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson: " The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."
Baltimore Examiner (concert review): "Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."

Not necessarily. Her music career has almost reached the 10 year mark. Plus other artists that came out at about the same time have released Greatest Hits albums (such as Britney Spears). Off the top of my head, the album could include:
1. Genie in a Bottle 2. What A Girl Wants (Radio Version) 3. I Turn To You 4. Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)(Radio Version) 5. Nobody Wants To Be Lonely (with Ricky Martin) 6. Lady Marmalade (with Mya, Pink, and Lil Kim) 7. Dirrty (featuring Redman) 8. Beautiful 9. Fighter 10. Can't Hold Us Down (featuring Lil Kim) 11. The Voice Within 12. Ain't No Other Man 13. Hurt 14. Candyman
Then add a Spanish song or two.

Beyonce has taken an admirable amount of time off, so I think this November would be a great time for her to release an album.
I don't think that anyone was complaining when Mariah Carey was dropping albums every single year of the '90s, so I don't see why people are so sick of seeing Beyonce. She's easily been this decade's most popular female artist so I think it's wise for her to continue capitalizing upon that.
When people look back on the '80s, they usually remember Michael Jackson and Madonna the most (Whitney, Prince, & Janet as well, to a lesser extent). The '90s was all about Mariah Carey. This decade there have been several popular artists. After it's all said and done, Beyonce will most likely be this decade's most memorable artist (along with Justin Timberlake). Include her work with Destiny's Child and she's probably been the most successful female artist as well.
She's my favorite female artist so of course I'm highly anticipating her return.

I like Beyonce. She is nowhere near my list of favorite female artists (I think she is overrated as a vocalist), but I like her. But I can see where some are wanting her to be gone a little bit longer.
There is a difference between releasing an album every year or so like Mariah did in the 90's and being over-exposed. I'd argue that Beyonce has been over-exposed. Mariah really never was a media-queen the way Beyonce is. She released her albums, made some appearances, but she was never on the cover or every magazine or tabloid. She wasn't hounded by the papparazi, and really kept her personal life pretty low-key. She wasn't the spokesmodel for this or that, nor did she venture into "acting" or other forms of entertainment until much later in her career. And I especially think that Mariah, in her early career, put her music before her image, which I do not think is always the case with Beyonce. Of course, after her divorce, Mariah's image changed drastically, but even then she was not "over-exposed" by the media. Maybe I am wrong, but I am assuming this is the difference in people wanting Beyonce to take a long break and Mariah releasing albums every year in the 90's.
I guess I don't much care when she releases her next album, but if she does do it in November, I will be very very anxious to see how it is received.

Keri Hilson's In A Perfect World... will hit stores on September 23rd. It should be added to the release schedule.
RE: Troy's post
Beyonce has always kept her personal life low-key. It's just a matter of who she's married to now that keeps people talking, but they've never been one of those couples that's all over the tabloid covers (like Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie).
Maybe it's just me, but it feels like she's been gone long enough to warrant another release.

beyonce is also nowhere near my list of favorite female artists. but i like her. and i love her singles.
mariah is on top of my list of favorite female artists. she just made herself to be on top of there. in the 90's decade, it was her single One Sweet Day that made the longest #1 single in the Billboard chart. and this decade (2000-2009) so far it's We Belong Together. so let's see who can beat that single since it's only 2008.
but anyway, i'll be looking forward for the release of beyonce's new album. maybe it's from this album a single would emerge to beat We Belong Together in the Billboards Chart.

I don't know. I don't think we will see another single that hits the 14 week at #1 mark anytime soon, particularly with the current trends in downloads. Songs seem to be able to hang out at #1 on airplay charts for quite some time, but I don't see a single getting a consistant amount of downloads AND airplay to allow it to have a 14 week run at #1. "We Belong Together's" 14 week reign was definitely unique and quite an accomplishment. What is the closest that any song has gotten to that since....10 weeks?
I am rambling...but bottom line....it would have to be a HUUUUUUUGEEEEEE single to do it.

Yes, it was 10 weeks. Three songs have stayed atop the Hot 100 for 10 consecutive weeks since "We Belong Together" hit #1 for 14 non-consecutive weeks.
In chronological order:
"Gold Digger" by Kanye West featuring Jamie Foxx "Irreplaceable" by Beyoncé "No One" by Alicia Keys

Christina's Greatest Hits album has a release date now.
By Associated Press
NEW YORK - Christina Aguilera has become the latest musical act to release an album exclusively through one retailer.
The multiplatinum singer announced Wednesday that her greatest hits CD "Keeps Gettin' Better — A Decade of Hits" will be released only at Target. The CD, out Nov. 11, will feature two new songs as well as rerecorded versions of two other hits, "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful."
"I can't believe it's been over 10 years since my first album and it was really exciting to put all of my favorite songs in one collection for my fans," said Aguilera in a statement.
Aguilera is following a growing list of acts who have struck exclusive deals with retailers. Wal-Mart has had huge success with similar deals with The Eagles, Journey, and Garth Brooks; AC/DC's October release of "Black Ice" will be available only at Wal-Mart, its affiliated Sam's Club and the band's Web site. The Eagles comeback album, "Long Road Out of Eden," was the third-best selling CD of 2007 with 2.6 million copies sold.
Target exclusively released John Legend's "Live from Philadelphia" in January and has had other exclusive releases of special edition albums by the likes of Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood.
Amazon had Kelly Clarkson's new cd for a Nov. 18th release, but, someone that works in a music store says RCA has it set for Dec. 2nd. Nothing official is out yet, so we'll see which is correct.
Whichever the date, I'm ready for a NEW single to hit radio
