Ok so it's no surprise that the Grammy forum has gone to hell. The constant bickering is at an all time high and it's disappointing to see how many of you guys don't have respect for one another.

And all of this fighting is over female artists whom you don't even know.

I've made posts like this before. I'm tired of repeating myself: THIS IS NOT A FANSITE! If you want to argue over Beyonce, Mariah, Rihanna, etc. then go to their fansites.

But y'all don't hear me, though, so I'm done talking.

I've already spoken to Tom and Guru and it's time to start banning people who don't shape up.

So here's what's going down.

I have PM'd a few posters about their behavior. They know who they are and I'm obviously not going to bring their names into this thread.

Pretty much you get one private warning (via PM) and if your behavior doesn't change immediately then you get banned.

Oh and don't think you'll sneak back in under another name because we'll ban you again.

I think the Grammy forum is becoming irrelevant. NOBODY likes to come in here because all it is is fanboys arguing. Well we can't necessarily stop the arguing, but we can damn sure ban the posters who instigate and fan the flames.

I just got through reading through several threads that have been hijacked by petty arguing. I wanted to ban some posters outright, but I have to give all posters a warning before banning them.

Anyway, I've said my peace.

Any questions? Comments?

Oh, that would be joyous if we started seeing some legitimate threads become popular instead of a page 1 populated with threads about Beyonce, Mariah, Madonna, etc.

Even though I thank Double D for doing this much MUCH needed thing, I can't help but laugh when I look at this thread and see that some of the biggest offenders to the Grammy forum are here saying "thank you, it's about time"...

But whatever, thank God for Double D...great work...

Hah...I haven't posted much lately, but apparently your warning didn't have that much of an impact on some posters, DoubleD....I say that just by doing a quick glance of some of the threads.

I haven't read through many of the threads lately.

Looks like I'll have to go through them tomorrow.

I've already warned some posters privately. If they're acting up, they will be banned tomorrow. No BS.

doubled's warning has worked, what are you talking about? no has insulted anyone, there are no more fights or arguments, so whats the problem? if you're talking about someone joking around with beyonce, then i don't see the problem in that. people should have a sense of humor, though he's not always funny...

Some posters have insulted others calling them "LAME!" and that was after the warning.

Do you think everything around here should be censored, though? "LAME!" seems offensive, but is it worth banning? Arguments happen on every messageboard, and it's normal. As long as it doesn't get out of hand and causes the thread to go off topic, we shouldn't make a big deal out of it.
