All of the nominated directors are really worthy nominees. I honestly think that the votes will split for Beyoncé and Gaga and allow for an upset (either Green Day or Cobra Starship). Jonas Akerlund's video for "Paparazzi," though, is totally deserving of a Best Direction win: He didn't just make a music video, he made a short film with an interesting concept and very well-made technical aspects.
WILL WIN: I really dunno, but most likely Beyoncé, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" SHOULD WIN: Lady Gaga, "Paparazzi" POSSIBLE SPOILER: Green Day, "21 Guns"

Prediction: 1. Beyoncé — "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" 2. Lady Gaga — "Paparazzi" 3. Britney Spears — "Circus" 4. Green Day — "21 Guns" 5. Cobra Starship (featuring Leighton Meester) — "Good Girls Go Bad"
Jonas Åkerlund.should win this for "Paparazzi", and not being voted on by the fans should help him out, along with being a former winner in the category. "Circus" should be a strong contender, but I think if "Paparazzi" isn't well-received, then that benefits "Single Ladies" the most.
Congratulations, Primetime Emmy Winners!
