I know music videos are sort of a dying art form, but they still are usually an important part of the promotion package of a single.

What do you guys think are the best music videos of the year so far? (Or residual last year?)

Who might contend for Short-Form Music Video at next years Grammys?

I think Erykah Badu's "Honey" is a great video. Madonna's "4 Min." is another contender. Not sure what other videos.I'm sure there are more. But I'm too lazy to think.

I don't you're too lazy to think so much as nothing has stood out this year as great. Can't argue that it's a dying art form, though I have to agree that "4 Minutes" is pretty cool.

Madonna and Justin's "4 Minutes" is easily the best video of the year... what's sad is that I cant think of many other good videos at all!

Has anyone seen the video for Hot Chip's "Ready for the Floor". It's phenomenal, but in a totally off the wall kind of way.

I don't like the Madonna video, at all.

and goddamnit, I really like "Touch My Body"
Janet, "Rock With U" is also pretty good

I love the UK version of Duffy's "Mercy". The US version is pretty run of the mill though. Not sure why they changed it.
