Kanye West can release a masterpiece album but he will never win Album of the Year. He always does stuff like this. Its just the way he is unfortunately. I'm scratching him off my GF predictions. NARAS will not vote for someone who publicly humiliated a fellow musician during the voting period. I bet he lost A LOT of votes for that incident no matter how many apologizing speeches his management writes for him.
I think Kanye will be nominated, the whole incident won't make a huge impact in how the Grammy's feel about him, HOWEVER, I don't think this year will be the time he'll receive too much love, as a winner, maybe for his future work. On the other end of the spectrum, I think Taylor Swift will be doing good and this whole thing will benefit her the most. If he takes home a lot of big awards at the CMAs, which I predict she'll at the least walk away with Album of the year. I actually think she'll get Entertainer of the Year, while Carrie or even Martina will grab Female Vocalist, kind of like how Kenny Cheseney always gets Entertainer of the year, but never wins Male Vocalist.
I think Taylor Swift will receive noms in AOTY and ROTY. SOTY, however, I predict will be completely different from ROTY.
