Capital Record has cut off all promotion for "Lady Love" because of poor sales. Funny thing about it? They never promoted her in the first place. "Not Anymore" was a mild success. "She aint got" was pick as the second single. All of a sudden Capital decided they didn't want to support the single. So it was just out there. Her loyal fans called, sent emails and petitions to capital records demanding they support her album and a 3rd single "Regret". They said if "Regret" was to enter the Top 20 on the R&B Charts she would get a video for it. That happen. Even though the video is cheap. The fans appreciate it.
Capital only shipped 110,000 copies of the album . There is less than 20,000 copies left scattered all over america and they wont ship out any more. 4th single is highly doubtful. LeToya has begin work on o 3rd album and I pray to good it's not being release through Capital Records.
Well if she actually had a good impact on the charts and made a good profit, they would keep on suporting the album. How high did her 1st and 2nd single chart, both on the Hot 100 and the R&B charts and how much has her album/singles sell? They need to profit off her and if they can't then it's understandable they will stop promoting it. Plus if she can't sell all those 110,000 copies, why would they send out more?

Le Toya killed it with "Regret"! One of the hottest r & b tracks this year. I slept on the fact that Tank produced it, too.

Agreed. I don't think people see that this is a business. If she's not selling cds why lose money making videos and promoting when she won't sell much more anyway.
I do love Regret. I'm glad it has done well on the R&B charts.

Is there a video to "Regret?" That is a hot song. It's a shame her album isn't doing better. It is one of the better contemporary R&B albums of this year.
