I loved getting to hear James sing "I Just Got Started Loving you" and his last song on the radio "Since You Brought It Up" on the Grand Ole Opry back in May. (smiles)

God bless you and him always!!!

I enjoyed the VMA's. Everything was entertaining, from the performances to the foolishness and random moments...definitely entertaining

-Grizzly Bear Veckatismest ^_^_^_^
-Arrival of Lady Gaga
-Janet's tribute to Michael at the VMAs; they need another one at the Grammys
-Meet Me Halfway by Black Eyed Peas; one of the two songs from them that I'm not embarrassed to listen to.
-The Twilight New Moon Soundtrack: I hate the series, and the movies, and I don't and will never support it but darn them for having an excellent soundtrack. >:{

The VMA's were funny too. The Kanye/Taylor Incident, and the Lil Mama incident were very memorable!

Favorite Moments/Albums/Videos/Singles/Live Experiences

Lady Gaga at the VMA's. From the bat**** performance, to the costume changes, Lady Gaga was the person to watch at the VMAs. But bringing Kermit as her guest? Unbelievably awesome.

Kings of Leon's rise to rock royalty. Although I wasn't a huge fan before, the two singles from this latest album ("Sex on Fire", and moreso "Use Somebody") intrigued me to buy their album. Seeing them live this summer at Lollapalooza sealed the deal.

Jack White introduces us to the Dead Weather. My mind was blown and my bones were crushed.

Quirky girl singer songwriters dominate my record buying, yet again this year. Regina Spektor, Tegan and Sara released the albums of the year. Lily Allen and Florence and the Machine didn't do too badly, either.

Bat**** bananas videos released by different acts this year. "Kids" by MGMT, "Hold the Line" by Major Lazer, "The Reeling" by Passion Pit. Seriously, check them out.

Karen O remains the biggest rockstar of our time. It's Blitz is undeniably awesome, their videos are undeniably awesome, and despite a new sheen, they still have that punk sensibility. Saw them twice this year, and one time was surely their biggest show ever. Releasing the "Wild Things" soundtrack under the moniker Karen O and the Kids, further cemented her status. Sorry Jack White, Allison Mosshat, and Beth Ditto, Karen O is still the main bitch out there.

Well, this is supposed to be moments so I'm not gonna mention full songs or albums...

The musical sequence of "You Make My Dreams" in 500 Days Of Summer.

"Better go get your armour" in Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield".

Kelly Clarkson's live mashup of "That I Would Be Good" and "Use Somebody".

The crowd reaction of "I Gotta Feeling" anywhere.

"It was in love I was created, and in love is how I hope I die" in Paolo Nutini's "Coming Up Easy".

U2 performing a remix to "I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight" in concert.

The breakdown leading into "Ground Zero" on Chris Cornell's "Scream".

The tempo change in BEP's "Imma Be".

Lea Michele and Kristin Chenoweth combining voices in "Maybe This Time".

Jennifer Hudson singing "Will You Be There".

The breakdown at the end of Timbaland's "Morning After Dark".

Miranda Lambert's final "Dead Flowers".

The male background vocals coming in on "Maintain The Pain" by Lambert.

Grammy FYC:
Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak; Black Eyed Peas, The E.N.D.; John Legend, Evolver; Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up; David Guetta, One Love; Kelly Clarkson, "Already Gone"; Jordin Sparks, "Battlefield"; Kings Of Leon, "Use Somebody"; Maxwell, "Pretty Wings"
