I know this thread will quickly be buried under Beyonce, Madonna, Mariah, etc. but I thought I'd give it a shot anyways.
Amos Lee just released another fantastic album (his 3rd) on June 24. He's developed into such a fantastic solid artist. His debut was very Norah Jones-esque...but he evolved into a very unique artist with his second and now this album. I really don't know what genre I'd call him. He's kinda folk, but too upbeat to be called folk. He's not rock or country...he's just fantastic.

Anybody out there?

I own both Amos Lee and Supply & Demand. Both are great, and ranked in my Top 10 albums for 2005 and 2006, respectively.

I had no idea he released another one. Thanks for the heads-up.

I have really been on a Supply and Demand kick lately. "Shout Out Loud" and "Night Train" have particularly been getting a lot of play. I didn't realize that he had a new CD out. Being a grad student it is hard for to justify spending much money on CDs these days, but I may have to make an exception for this one.

And, no suprise that there are few responses. Good music gets little attention on this forum.

I'm loving "Truth" and "Street Corner Preacher".
