Hopefully it wont, It's gonna be just like "Diva" be played in Urban radio stations, climb up to Top 40 maybe Top 20 then drop. The song is OK it has a feel good grove to it plus it won't cross over and the video is OK also, nothing special. I didn't have any high hopes for it so it's all good.

The one I am relying on is "Sweet Dreams" heffa better bring out all the Sasha Fierce/Thierry Mugler in the world!

.... Even if you are a million miles away, I can still feel you in my bed, near me, touch me, feel me and even at the bottom of the sea, I can still hear you inside my head, telling me, touch me, feel me, and all the time you were telling me lies

I find it really funny that some of you find "Halo"'s rise up the charts mysterious. What's so mysterious about it? Some songs take quite a while before they catch on. ie. Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" was released to radio outlets during the Summer, the song really didn't take off until October and look how big that was.

Another thing to note is the fact when "Halo" was sent to Pop radio, this radio format was spinning "Single Ladies" in super high rotation. Single Ladies was #1 on Pop Airplay. Do you think these stations were going to drop "Single Ladies" right away in favor of "Halo"? I think not! People have to understand that "Single Ladies" delayed the impact of "Halo", at that time "Single Ladies" had already peaked at Urban radio and was falling down the charts and that's when "Diva" took off at that format and "Halo" supposedly flopped to some people because they compared these two songs at the same time that they had been released. But didn't they realize they were catered for two different radio formats?

Anyways, I just wanted to give my two cents.

"Halo" is a deserved hit that's moved up the Hot 100 the old fashioned way.

Wow, she's trying to duplicate the "Single Ladies" video yet again? First "Diva"? Now this.
Beyonce, come up with a new video concept, seriously.
"Single Ladies" was lightning in a bottle. You ain't gonna catch it again by doing the same thing over and over again.

OK, I just seen the video for "Ego." It's nothing more than a rehash of "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)." The song is nothing special and the lyrics are so juvenile (much like 90% of Beyonce's songs). Is she always this full of herself?

If "Single Ladies" is ineligible in Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, then unfortunately "Ego" will be Beyonce's winning song submission in that category. Nope

Pretty amazing numbers...do you happen to know how Beyonce's album sales compare to others from this year? I know that back in January, it was ranked as the tenth-top selling album of the year, but she is continuing to push copies worldwide...just wondering if she is still in the top ten for this year....

I saw the information the otehr day, I'll try to find it. I do know that she has the 2nd Best Selling Album by a Female Artist That Was Released in 2008 World Wide. Only Duffy's "Rockferry" is ahead of her.

I'll try to get it for 2009 and her Ranks in the USA.
