I don't really think Geffen will rerelease Growing Pains, that will be plain stupid in my opinion. The album is dead right now, let it rest and move onto a new project. They crack me up with the holiday release dates.

Why are they waiting so long to re-release it, just come out with a new album. The album will be forgotten by then and new music will take over, unless she has alot of new songs and she knows she has a big hit for the re-release then she shouldn't even bother,
the only re-releases hat made sense to me are Beyonce's "B'Day", Usher's "Confessions" Mariah's "TEOM" and thats because "Beautiful Liar", "My Boo" and "Don't Forget About Us" were big hits and they got Grammy nods, plus one had like 7 new songs and additional songs in Spanish

As much as I LOVE Mary, and I do LOVE Mary, she should be working on a whole new album, or she should just take a break. She has been riding with Growing Pains for months, and nothing good has really come from it. Her sales are sub par, but her album did go Platinum. She should be satisfied with that.

Mary's version Of Supernatural She Recorded For GP
"Supernatural" is such a sexy song.
I love Mary dearly; however, her cover sounds way too contrived and artificial in certain parts. She has far too much voice to be singing a song to this effect. It really doesn't suit her.

I like the fact that Mary is working on the next studio album. But that presumed fourth quarter release date worries me. Mary's name in itself contains enough star power for her not be concerned about having to drop on a specific day to acquire a big opening week number. If this actually does happen, this'll be the fourth consecutive album she's released during the fourth quarter. Enough with these winter release dates.
With a killer first single, the spring/summer of '09 would suffice.

WOW! She really does love the fourth quarter period to release, for obvious reasons. However, if she's got the material, go for it. But, she could easily wait until next year, and come out with an extreme banger, then drop for the summer.
