I think she needs to release the second single. I want to love this song but it is hard. I find its annoying at times, I'm happy she is trying something out of her element but I think it is not working at the moment. Hopefully I'm wrong about this because anything can happen.

I want to like this song, but it's definitely not one of her best efforts. Hopefully, she'll release a killer 2nd single to "compensate".

I hope so too. I don't know if I can say I can't wait for the album but I will get it when it comes out.

"just fine" is just that, but it's definitely disappointing as a lead single. mary has always been a bit hit-or-miss, though.

I am not that crazy about "Just Fine." It's just OK to me, maybe it will grow on me after repeated listens. She's had much better lead off singles ("All That I Can Say," "Family Affair," "Be Without You). That album cover is fire!

I loved All That I Can Say. I read that Lauryn originally wrote it for Whitney Houston but she passed it or had a conflict or something!

Lauryn also sang backup vocals on "All That I Can Say." I think it's a beautiful song, but it's not my favorite lead single. Mine would definitely be "Be Without You."

For me, it would go like this:

1. "Be Without You" (The Breakthrough)
2. "Family Affair" (No More Drama)
3. "All That I Can Say" (Mary)
4. "Just Fine" (Growing Pains)
5. "You Remind Me" (What's The 411?)
6. "Be Happy" (My Life)
7. "Love @ 1st Sight" f/ Method Man (Love & Life)
8. "Love Is All We Need" f/ Nas (Share My World)

I never liked any of Mary's lead singles. In order of what I could tolerate:

1. "You Remind Me" (What's the 411?)
2. "Love Is All We Need" (Share My World)
3. "Be Happy" (My Life)
4. "Family Affair" (No More Drama)
5. "Love @ 1st Sight" feat. Method Man (Love & Life)
6. "Just Fine" (Growing Pains)
7. "All That I Can Say" (Mary)
8. "Be Without You" (The Breakthrough)

Well this statement would definitely follow the trend she has set-forth with her releases thus far...Success, Flop, Success, Flop, etc.

Though, I do enjoy "Just Fine."

There is still over a month left before the album comes out, which means there's still plenty of time for Mary to do the necessary promotion and get a new single out (if necessary).

Exactly. The only studio album Mary has released that didnt do to well was Love & Life and that still went platinum.

WHATS THE 411- 3 Million
MY LIFE- 3 Million
SHARE MY WORLD- 4 Million
MARY- 2 Million
NO MORE DRAMA- 3 Million
LOVE & LIFE- 1 Million
THE BREAKTHROUGH- 3 Million

- If one thing Mary has been consistent.
