It doesn't matter what label Brandy is on, her career is pretty much over.

I'm just really happy to hear this. Brandy's career may be "over," but I'm always ready to her new music from her. "Afrodisiac" was a brilliant album, and definitely one of the best releases of 2004. Maybe MrTalented and I are her only fans left, but that album is already on my list to buy.

I love Brandy and was one of the few who purchased Afrodisiac. I can't wait to hear new music by her especially if she hooks up with Timbaland again!

As Mariah proved, never write off a comeback. I'd give her a chance to see what she can do. I loved her mid-90's grooves! dance

I like Afrodisiac too..The label put out the wrong singles..They should have went with
Saddity
Who is she to You
Come as you are
Finally

They tried to jump on the Kanye West band wagon and put out "talk about our love" which was the worst song on that cd..it also didnt help that she change managers a month before the cd came out..But atlantic just didnt promote or support that cd the way they should..

There are too many up-tight gay people on this borad..They need to get laid.. holla at me and if your in my area maybe I can help you out..

I'd have to agree. Wasn't impressed with the Kanye collabo at all. Afrodisiac was an excellent cd, though. Very glad she's signed now!

You know i was a big fan of Brandy's first three albums "Brandy", "Never Say Never" and "Full Moon" but i just couldn't bring myself to buy "Afrodisiac" mostly because it's singles just didn't impress me much--but i hope her new album can get me back as a fan. "Have You Ever" and "Almost Doesn't Count" are still frequant plays on my music list.

Ron Carvalit, you are my hero!

It's funny. I was talking about this earlier. I felt the same way (though I think "Afrodisiac" should have been the lead single), but "Talk About Our Love" came up on my iPod today, and it's a much better song than I remembered. I'm actually surprised it wasn't a bigger hit.

My only thing with Brandy is I thought they maybe overproduced her voice a little on the last album. She has a beautiful singing voice and I think they should give her some songs to showcase that. I would love to hear another ballad from her like "Have You Ever."

I never understood the backlash against "Talk About Our Love," other than the fact that most people who don't like it are people that don't like Kanye West.

I remember the first time I heard it 4 years ago. I thought it was a fantastic track and I loved the video that accompanied it. I would check the charts every Thursday because I knew it would blow up, being that Kanye was featured. Sadly, it only peaked at #36 on the Hot 100. I think it deserved more than that, but I also think it was promoted well.

I don't know what else to think other than it's one of the many unfortunate tracks that just slipped through the cracks of popular success.
