Check this out. It's all legit supposedly. They're back in the studio recording new album "From The Ashes"

Apparently the site wasn't supposed to go live until after the "Making The Band" finale but they launched it early.

Making the Band is one of MTV's biggest shows, their first album went platinum, the second gold, and Damaged was one of the bigger songs of last year.

So I'm assuming a few people.

It's pretty stupid if you ask me. Danity Kane wasn't that mega of a girl group to begin with even though I really liked their last album. How do they think this whole "Stunt" will help them out? lol Ok, it may get people talking and stuff but in the end of the day, Danity Kane will never reach their full potential under Bad Boy Records and Diddy really. If I were them I would get out of that record deal with BadBoy and move over to a different label that would actually fully support their efforts and properly promote the group. You can't just depend on MTV and "Making The Band". Yeah, it's good enough to debut at #1 on the Album charts but longevity wise it never pans out and the album just slides down the chart pretty fast.

MTB Finale Deets! Day26 To Perform, Danity Kane To Reunite!

We already told ya Aubrey O’Day will be hitting up tomorrow night’s live Making The Band finale. What we didn’t mention was we might be looking at a full-scale Danity Kane reunion(!). And while the girls discuss the possibility of getting back together (ZOMG!), the boys from Day26 will be performing songs from their new album and updating us on their relationship with Que.
Natch, Donnie will be there to promote his next something-or-other and Diddy will try and keep the “b***hassness” to a minimum (don’t worry, that never seems to work). So tune in tomorrow night at 9pm to catch the LIVE special (hosted by Sway) and remember: ANYTHING can happen. Especially now that Aubs is back …

YAWN!...There's nothing unique or interesting about them. DAY 26 either.

Not to be a hater but really what group/artist has been relevant off of Diddy's label since like 1999?

I use to consider Danity Kane relevant artists, but Diddy screwed that up. They had a good second album and could have had more success. "Striptease" and "Bad Girl" were both good potential follow up singles. "Bad Girl" died because of the fake break up. They most likely could of performed at the VMAs but were unable because of Diddy's plan.

I asked that same question on another board. I just don't get it.

While Danity Kane had a Platinum album, I wouldn't necessarily they were "relevant". Diddy screws up with every artist he signs. I think his last really successful artist was Mase, and that was way back in the late 90s. These artists haven't said many great things about Diddy as a producer or as a businessman. So, they can't be lying.

SO, for those who didn't see the Making the Band LIVE Season Finale, Danity Kane DID NOT get back together. That ish from the advertising was to throw off people and make them want to tune in and see the girls reunite, which they didn't.

Andrea wasn't even in attendence, and for good reason. I'd be ****ed too for staying on the entire season of Making the Band only to be fired in the last episode in front of America for no reason in particular.

The realest of the girls of DK was D.Woods last night. She spoke the truth when she said that there was a problem with the group from the get-go and that when they started having personal problems with each other, they all started going off and doing their own things. The fakest of the girls last night was Dawn. She tried to interupt D.Woods while she was speaking and would only speak from the "Bad Boy Company" perspective. She also tried to deny D.Woods' respectful reasoning as to why the group broke-up by indirectly laying the blame on Aubrey for doing Broadway and other stuff when she should have only been focused on Danity Kane stuff. The part that Dawn didn't tell everyone was the fact that she was working with Diddy on a bunch of solo stuff, like recording demos, writing for other artists, performing with Puff at concerts, and contributing as a solo artist to Diddy's upcoming album. That's why I say last night Dawn was the fakest. We all know Aubrey is a fame whore and wants to do anything and everything in the industry in order to maintain the little fame she has. BUT...at least she's REAL about it and recognizes it. She even said last night, that to get past all the drama, you got to forgive, including yourself for actions that you might have taken that could have been seen as selfish.

My opinion is Danity Kane is done for good. Diddy's starting a new making the band girl group next season, plus Dawn, D.Woods, and Aubrey are all going to be putting out solo albums. Not sure if any are going to see success, but for right now, I'd put my money on D.Woods and Aubrey becoming the most successful (b/c in the "real world", people in the music industry only know who these two ladies are!). Even though Dawn is fake as hell and being shady, I think she has a great voice and that her solo stuff is good too. However, I don't think she'll find success as long as she sticks on Bad Boy Records, b/c Diddy doesn't know how to promote his artists.

I was stunned to find out this week that Day 26's first album only sold 380,000 copies, despite debuting at #1.

For Your Grammy Consideration:
Kanye West for "Heartless" and 808's & Heartbreak
Adele for "Hometown Glory"
Taylor Swift for "You Belong With Me" & Fearless
Maxwell for "Pretty Wings" & BLACKsummer'snight
Kings of Leon for "Use Somebody"
The Cast of GLEE for "Don't Stop Believin' "
Mariah Carey for "Obsessed"

I'll miss Danity Kane but it doesn't matter now, Dawn will go solo (still my favorite from the group). Diddy screwed up big time with them because he has a talented group (beside Aubrey, she irks me sometimes) on her hand.

.... Even if you are a million miles away, I can still feel you in my bed, near me, touch me, feel me and even at the bottom of the sea, I can still hear you inside my head, telling me, touch me, feel me, and all the time you were telling me lies

I liked Aubrey. She was pretty much the only interesting one in that group, and she proved she had talent, she was just never given a chance to show it once she actually made the group. I wish D. Woods the best too, because she was a real, funny be-yotch. But Dawn can go **** herself; it's all her fault anyways. Seriously, "Welcome to the Dollhouse" was a really good album that should have launched Danity Kane to the next level. It's kind of sad...

I honestly do not know how its Dawn's fault, she didn't start anything. I think people just hate because Diddy wanted her to be solo and he saw potential in her (in which I did too). So why hate? Seriously, Diddy screwed up the group with his miscommunication he was doing within the group. He wanted drama. Again, Dawn was the highlight of "Welcome to the Dollhouse" so I look forward to her solo stuff (in which I enjoy some of previous demos she has out), the girl is the most talented one, imo.

Yeah, the most talented one is probably her or Aundrea, but Dawn also has the biggest ego.

What ego? I have never seen her with a big ego, maybe I miss something there but she's a nice swag to her. However, a big ego has never strike me with her.

It's mostly Aubrey's fault.Like Dawn said they had shows to do and Aubrey went off to do Broadways while these show's were happening.

Anyway I see all the members being successful except for Aundrea and Shannon!
