And seriously where do you get that she doesn't contribute to her songs and takes all the credit. Yes she doesn't write all the songs from the first word to the final period or does all the production, but who does? She does contributes to the songs in one way or another be it mixing it to her liking, switching words, adding or deleting certain parts, the vocal arangement or whatever. It's something, she get's credit for that and why shouldn't she, It's not like the other people don't get credit either, it's a game as well, who ever got somewhere by sitting on their a.ss and doing nothing. People get all goo laa laa over her work instead of trying to worry about their own flops work. No wonder they flop, their fans have their head up on Beyonce's cootchie and won't let go.
Like she's the first artist to do so? Please, she won't be the last to do so either.
She still owns your mind, that's all that matters in the end.

Wow, people are still not over this. Pressed, hot and bothered I see, it's understandable
And now lets hope for the day Beyonce lowers down as well ans sing a line of "Already Gone"
Waits, and waits
You're right, it'll never happen because Beyonce is too serious to ever make a joke like that. Kelly doesn't take herself so serious, and likes to have some fun.
and who's all hot and bothered? Kelly whooped up on beyonce on her own song

Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson: " The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."
Baltimore Examiner (concert review): "Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."
"Music is powerful, it's a drug that makes your inhibitions go away and leaves your vulnerabilities exposed" - KC
It will never happen since she doesn't pay attention to silly things like this, you don't see her crying out in the internet and so on, she ignores it continues with her carreer. It's pretty pathetic that while this is the biggest contreversy happen to Kelly this year, but for what it's worth can't blame her for milking it, she's still going on about it even if it's meant as a piece of humour, it's still on her mind. While for Beyonce, it goes in one ear and out the other, forgetable in less than a minute.
I love how this is twisted for the underdog, "whooped" please. But what her fans do, just cheer on and make themselves feel better.

I don't know what's more worrisome, the fact that you actually believe "switching a word or two" and "mixing to her liking" equals songwriting credit or your impossible to read, mistake-ridden sentence structure.

yeah, just a little Halo on HALO-ween

Beyonce is a shameless song-stealing bitch. That's the fact you need to get over.
Hey does anyone have any link to her most recent concert... Apparently she played a friend of mine, Shane Mack's song "Wreckage". It's a fantastic song and I'd love to see what Kelly did with it! ... (he also wrote LeeAnn Womack's recent hit "Last Call")...

Sounds like it might've been from the VIP pre-show? If so, I doubt there is video. : (
I'm back from seeing Kelly in Vegas, and I'm so glad I went. Her voice is so amazing live. She just keeps getting better and better. She has so much power behind her voice it's unreal. That and the emotion she puts into every song makes you feel every word she sings. I wish I could have afforded to go to the preshow, I heard from some people that went say she sang 'Mary Jane' from Alanis Morresette and a new song that she wrote. Oh well, maybe next time. But I was so excited she added in her set, one of my favorite songs she has ever written, 'Sober' because a fan asked her to. It was amazing to hear live:
The other 2 songs that I really liked was her version of 'Lies' by the Black Keys and 7 nation Army. The beginning of 'Lies' when she sings acapella, KILLS me. The hair on my arm was raised on that one:
and 7 nation army was so rockin the power and emotion she put in the song was unbelievable. She put SO much into that song, she looked spent at the end:
After the concert, before we went back to our hotel, we stopped at this bar at the hotel called Wasted space, (Carey Hart, Pinks husband owns it, that's why we went) for a few drinks, and while we were there Kelly showed up. I couldn't believe it. I recognized her right away, but my wife didn't believe me at first. We didn't bother her because I don't think anyone realised who it was at first. She looked like she was having fun drinking with friends/band members, and dancing away. It was cool until the DJ spotted her there and called her out by announcing that she was there, and played SUBG. She left not long after that, but it was pretty cool. I wish I had my camers with me, but it takes lousey pictures in a concert setting, so I left it back at the hotel. Crap!
All in all, the best concert ever, by one of the best singers out today, hands down.

Love that you saw her @ Wasted Space. That's great. And hilarious that she left after getting called out by the DJ. That's not surprising, though, haha.

Yeah, it was too bad, because after that, people started asking for autographs and pictures, so she really couldn't enjoy herself. But it was cool watching her before she was outed. It's a good thing my wife is understanding, because I couldn't take my eyes off her, haha

Congrats to Kelly for hitting the #1 spot on Hot AC with AG
It's her second #1 on that format, with the last one being 'Behind these hazel eyes'
She still sits at #8 on Top 40 with a good bullet.

I really wanted to start a new thread (if nothing else, it would **** Gucci off to no end), but alas I'll put this here.
Kelly's name is making the rounds right now, as many news outlets are releasing their lists of the "TOP _____ " of the decade.
The newest list Kelly finds herself on is Newsweek's TOP 10 Cultural Moments of the Decade. Kelly winning the first season of Idol is at Number 4, only trumped by the Sopranos finale, Letterman's return to Late Night after 9/11 and MJ's death...
This is so awesome for Kelly - and for all of Idol. I can't wait to see what other lists she finds herself on in the coming weeks...
Here's the link to the story (click around to see the full list):

I still remember watching the night Kelly won the first season of American Idol. I don't think there has been a finale I enjoyed watching more(although Fantasia's season 3 win comes close). It really was one of the great moments of this decade.

I agree. I miss the excitement of the first season. The finale was a great moment
Without Kelly, there wouldn't have been Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Adam Lambert, ect. Kelly had to Succseed in order for Idol to have credability in the industry. It wasn't until The Breakway Album that the other Idol contestants started to really make it big. Kelly deserves a place on any decade ending list...not only for her own success, but for the success of all other Idol Contestants as well. It's all because of her.
