So there's no entry lists copied to these threads then?

I think there should be. Not everyone saw them, and if they did, didn't copy them, or have them memorized.

Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson:
" The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."

Baltimore Examiner (concert review):
"Her sultry voice is absolutely flawless. The tone and range floors you. When she belts out a note, it's precise yet powerful."

"Music is powerful, it's a drug that makes your inhibitions go away and leaves your vulnerabilities exposed" - KC

The entry list for just one of the general fields would be 20-30 pgs LOL.

You're right, I didn't think about that

Not yet. The Academy removed them from the website. If the lists are re-uploaded, then I'll copy the links into each genre thread.

I knew that they were removed. I just thought that one of you had copied them and would type the lists out to these predictions threads.

Record of the year first. My nominees are:

Record of the year
Already Gone by Kelly Clarkson
Beyond Here Lies Nothing' by Bob Dylan
Poker Face by Lady Gaga
Use Somebody by Kings of Leon
I Told You So by Carrie Underwood & Randy Travis

I think we pretty much all agree that Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon are in.

I chose Already Gone over Halo. One of the either should make it in, the only problem is Bleeding Love was nominated in the previous year. It could prove to be an obstacle.

Beyond Here Lies Nothin' is actually a great song, happened to be sung by a veteran - the kind that Grammys love to nominate.

I Told You So is my wildcard. I couldn't think of any other rap/r&b song worthy for a ROTY nod. The Grammys will nominate Taylor Swift for album, but will want to prove that while they could not stop the Swift juggernaut, they recognise country artists who can actually sing. Wouldn't it be a surprise if in a year Taylor Swift is expected to be country's golden princess, Carrie Underwood comes along and upstages her.

Why do you have them out of order? To purposely put Whitney's album first?

If those are the percents, the albums should be ranked:

1. George Straight
2. Whitney Houston
3. Taylor Swift
4. Green Day
5. Black Eyed Peas
6. Maxwell

For some odd reason, I don't know why people are predicting BEP for AOTY. ROTY? Maybe. But AOTY? What makes their album a front-runner for AOTY?
