This is the amount of spins "Bleeding Love" is receiving on the Pop/Top 40 radio format. She's currently #1 on this format and her bullet is still crazy high and increasing. She may break the record in the coming week with the most spins in a week. GO LEONA!!!
This was from yesterdays' update:
3 1 LEONA LEWIS Bleeding Love 10021 8593 1428 65.876
Not sure what others opinions are about this but personally I haven't got sick of "Bleeding Love" since I first heard it back in September. It really has a low burnout rate.
Not sure what the plan is for "I will be" its a smash hit for sure but its an Avril cover (although a largely unknown one) so too risky as a second single.
Musicweek magazine report that she is filming the video to "Forgive me" in May, so that sounds like a definite single.
Its going to be tricky following up "Bleeding Love", songs like that don't come along very often.

Do you think it's best to release another slower song like "Better In Time" to capitalize off of the success of "Bleeding Love", then release "Forgive Me" as the 3rd single? "Better In Time" did get good digital single sales the week of the albums release where it charted high and also made a debut onto the Hot100 charts. "Forgive Me" didn't even chart on the Digital Single Sales chart.
3 1 LEONA LEWIS Bleeding Love 10224 8808 1416 67.929
+203 Spins -12 Bullet +2.053 Audience
Her audience gain is absolutely ridiculous. She's killing all the competition and is on her way to break the record of the most spins in a week at Pop radio which is at 10700.

She has been singing BIT on some of the promo shows she has been doing and there is a video on youtube so I guess that is where some of the digital sales come from.
Forgive me is a new and unknown track to most people, also the preview on Itunes don't sound too good compared to the actual track.
Musicweek also says they are contemplating releasing BIT due to the interest, they may wait to see how it fares in Europe first.

I hope she performs the full version of "Bleeding Love" on American Idol tonight instead of the version she seems to be singing on all the American shows lately where she cuts out the 2nd verse of the song.
Wow!!! She just killed that American Idol performance.
Yeah, she did, she looked great too !
Blender Magazine on Kelly Clarkson: " The Texas native has one of the great voices in pop music, a powerful and versatile instrument that’s steeped in the rhythm and blues and country music she grew up with in the South. If Mariah Carey’s five-octave voice is the equivalent of an expensively bred poodle, then Clarkson’s is a bloodhound: friendly, earthy, but fierce just the same."

I think Leona is a lock for nominations in Female Pop Vocal for "Bleeding Love" and Best New Artist.
I think she'll receive more nominations than those 2 but those are the two definite locks I foresee at this time.
I agree.
Female Pop Vocal and Best New Artist seem to be a lock up nomination.
I strongly believe she'll be nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year as well for "Bleeding Love". Just look how big this song currently is and the scary thing is it isn't even near its peak yet.

I agree with that. I know there's debate on whether she compares/should be compared to Mariah, but I think as far as awards go she'll have similar Grammy success with "Bleeding Love" as Mariah did with "Vision of Love", and she'll probably win the same categories Mariah did in 1990.
