Why not start a thread for him. His album has to be one of the most creative rap albums I've heard in a long time. next to Jay-Z I hink he has the Best Rap album this year.
Album Man on the Moon: The End of Day
Singles "Day N Nite" "Make Her Say"
He for sure will get some Grammy love in the following categorys: Best Rap Solo Performance Best Rap song Best Rap Duo/Group and possibly Best New Artist

I really like his CD. At first, it was just okay to me, but it grew on within a day. People might mistake the production for being "slow" and "boring," but it's not the generic stuff you listen to on the radio. I give him props for being "different." His album has been getting good reviews and his first week sales will be strong. Hopefully, he has longevity.
My favorite tracks are "My World," "Enter Galactic Love Connection," "Make Her Say," "Sky Might Fall," and "Pursuit of Happiness."
Their is something unique about Kid Cudi I just can't stop listening to his album. a lot of people say that his album is boring but I disagree I love the production its very different and I respect him for that.

Yeah, he's kinda weird, though. lol Some people say his music is for skateboarders and weed heads. LOL His music is like Hip Hop meets Electronica meets Alternative. I kinda figured he would get good overall reviews. Critics seem to like stuff like this.
What are you favorite tracks, musicforever?

I bought his album yesterday (along with Jay-Z's) and I must say that so far I'm really loving it. It's ambitious, creative, and different. Something Hip-Hop and music in general have been missing for a while. I say BNA belongs to him this year even though it should be GaGa's!
I was gonna get his album, but a lot of ppl on here didn't have kind words about it. I did download "Make Her Say" and I cannot stop listening to it. We'll see, I might pick it up anyway.

LOL! Who is "a lot of ppl"? The majority of the folks on this board rarely talk about Hip Hop or Alternative type of music. I've only read a couple of bad comments on this board about that album, and that doesn't really constitute for anything. You might like it, if you enjoy something other than generic Hip Hop.
I certainly prefer Kid Cudi over Drake. Even though I have yet to really like a song by him. "Make Her Say" is catchy. "Day And Nite" was just blah to me.
Cudi and Drake are two way different type of rappers. I really cant compare them like I used two because they are too different. Drake is more of a lyricist/commercial artist and cudi is more of an creative Artist (Kinda like Jay-Z VS Kanye West) I feel they both can take from each other.
The funny thing is I used to like Drake more but now I like them equally.

"Day 'N' Nite" is for people who like to get high all day aka "lonely stoners." LOL
Kid Cudi and Drake are good friends. They are always on Twitter talking about each other. Drake took a picture of himself holding both his EP and Cudi's album, and he told his followers to buy both.
I also like Wale. He's a very talented rapper, too. I believe he is good friends with Cudi and Drake. J. Cole is another good rapper. I'm actually glad that there are some talented new rappers/artists emerging. It's a big step up from Soulja Boy/Plies type rappers.
Grammy FYC: Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak; Black Eyed Peas, The E.N.D.; John Legend, Evolver; Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up; David Guetta, One Love; Kelly Clarkson, "Already Gone"; Jordin Sparks, "Battlefield"; Kings Of Leon, "Use Somebody"; Maxwell, "Pretty Wings"
Here are ratings from respected publications and some smaller ones:
Allmusic - 4 out of 5 stars The Boston Globe - Favorable Entertainment Weekly - A- Los Angeles Times - 4 out of 5 stars New York Times - Mixed Rolling Stone - 3 out of 5 stars Time Out New York - Favorable USA Today - 4 out of 4 stars Billboard - Favorable Slant - 3 out of 5 stars HipHopDX - 4 out of 5 stars 411mania - 9.5/10 People - 4 out of 4 stars
Overall, the reviews have been great. His first week sales are expected to be over 100k.

I'm not the hugest fan of it, but it's alright. There are a couple of cool tracks, and the production is definitely good, but he doesn't really draw me in with his style and flow. I'd give the album a 75, if I were to grade it, so it's decent, but "Make Her Say" is easily the best thing on there if that's a barometer for anything.

Ignore the "Make Her Say is the best thing on there" remark, it's not true if you hear the whole album more than once.

E-lie, what are your favorite tracks?
Thus far I would have to say (considering I still dont feel like I know the album super well):

Why should he ignore it? Just because you disagree with my opinion doesn't mean he doesn't have to take it into consideration. I have listened to the album one and a half times, to be honest, and I don't really care to listen to it more than that to make my assessment of it. I happen to think "Make Her Say" is one of the best records of the year, which is why I stated that opinion. Overall, the album is decent with good tracks, a couple of standouts, and I particularly liked this one.
