It boils down to Coldplay vs. The Eagles. Since Coldplay will win Pop Group and some other categories, I'm going to give the edge to The Eagles here.

SHOULD WIN: The Eagles, "Long Road Out Of Eden"
WILL WIN: The Eagles, "Long Road Out Of Eden"

all of them are deserving, yes even AC/DC (Black Ice is a good album)

I really, really extremely wish that the win would go to "Sex on Fire". So much emotion in that song.

Radiohead, Coldplay or The Eagles would win though.

Coldplay are the frontrunners, but watch out for The Eagles.

"Let's hear it for New York!"

Coldplay's probably the frontrunner for "Violet Hill," but if voters are as underwhelmed with that song as I am, I think they could look elsewhere for the win. I know that I'll be rooting for Kings of Leon here the most, b/c "Sex on Fire" has become one of my favorite songs of the year, and it would be awesome to see a band like that win out versus this competition. Radiohead could seriously win here, and they shouldn't be so underestimated. "House of Cards" is a stunning track -- that, their overall reputation, a sense of "dueness," and the AOTY nod could push them over the edge too. They could manage more than just the obligatory Alternative Album win. Since The Eagles didn't make the kind of showing that most thought they would, I don't think they're the frontrunners here with "Long Road Out of Eden." They might be able to pull off Pop Vocal Album though. AC/DC's reward is the nomination, but look for them to be more of a force at next year's Grammys (but no, I don't think it'll go all the way to AOTY -- that lesson is finally learned after the high-profile snubs of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and The Eagles in that category with stronger reps than AC/DC). I think I just convinced myself to predict Radiohead for the win over Coldplay.

WILL WIN: Radiohead, "House of Cards"
SHOULD WIN: Kings of Leon, "Sex on Fire"

Man, some really great sngs have won here.

I hope that Kings of Leon win, but i know that Radiohead, Coldplay, and the Eagles are probably surer bets. I'm, suprisingly, not a Radiohead fan, so i've never heard the song. I'd say the Eagles take it.

I think this race is between Coldplay, Radiohead and The Eagles.

I give Coldplay the edge because they have more nominations, but Radiohead will siphon votes from them here causing The Eagles to upset.

Great to see Kings of Leon win and beat the heavy favorites!

WILLIAM PETERSEN: Well, this is a shock. The only explanation for this is that somehow in the last year, every one of you tried to act with rubber gloves and tweezers.

I just love it when Grammy voters shock us and go outside of their comfort zone.

I thought Kings of Leon were least likely to win here.
