It's been a good show, except for the sound problems and the wrong people being shown on camera LOL. They don't need an Emmy directing nomination in 2010.

You can say that again. The first 2/3 of the opening montage was a hot ass mess. "Hair" brought it home, though.

I was disappointed in the Billy performance. I had hoped to hear some singing. Seen all 3 Billys, some other cast members, something. You want something that will make people say "Wow, I want to see that now." Rock of Ages did it, Next to Normal did it, I have a feeling Hair will do it, Shrek pretty much succeeded, more with Freak Flag than the Farquaad number.

Gotta say....I'm very puzzled by the choice of number for Billy Elliot. I misunderstood and thought that they were doing the number with all the miners and the ballet students with Mrs. Wilkinson on stage. That would've been a much better choice, IMHO. I am secretly hoping for a Next to Normal upset for Best Musical. Yes, it is THAT good! But alas, it won't happen.

LOVED Frank Langella dissing the nominating committee for forgetting about the whole 1/2 of the Broadway season. They totally deserved that! Shame on them for pandering to profit over integrity.

Marcia Gay Harden delivered an excellent speech.

YRO, I thought about seeing N2N, but wasn't looking for deep. LOL. I hope I can make it back to NYC soon and see it or hopefully see it on tour. I will look for the OCR though. PS why didn't Jennifer get to sing at all? Aaron Tveit wasn't a nominee but sang 2 times, she isn't and didn't sing once. Is it because he's a pretty boy? lol

I'm glad the Jerry Herman tribute has pre-packaged clips. I wouldn't want the sound engineers from hell to eff up this tribute.

I love that the audience doesn't mind that the cast is out there grabbing all over their follicles. That was a great performance.

They saved the best for last with this "Hair" number. Excellent. I guess there will be no solo "Pal Joey" performance now. Oh well.

Hey, BamaEd. Yeah, everyone would like a piece of Tveit (myself included ;-), so that's probably why he sang. Once you hear the incredible score of N2N, you'll want to hightail it back to NYC to see it. It is an emotionally demanding show, which is why I think it's struggling at the box office.

Now that's it's summer, I won't get the GREAT deal on a hotel room I got in March. In Manhattan, a few blocks from Central Park, about $80 a night! Hellz yeah on that! Train ride from Bmore ain't bad though.

Eh....Jeff Madden IS the sit down Toronto cast. It's silly that Bwarie represents Toronto production when he was only with the touring company.

After seeing the performance, well, not much to call home for. And I think Jeff Madden has better voice then these 5.

It's official, LIZA IS ON CRACK!
