If you could have the opportunity to travel back in time and see broadway shows, which would it be?

I would love to see

- Judy Holliday in Born Yesterday
- the original cast of "A Streetcar named Desire"...seeing Marlon Brando live on stage would be awesome! And of course: how was Jessica Tandy?
- being a big Katharine Hepburn fan, I would love to see her in "Coco" (but I doubt that I would like it) and her performance in "The Philadephia Story" and of course her performance in "The Lake", where she ran the amout of emotions from A to B.
- the original production of My Fair Lady to see how Julie compares to Audrey.
- a not very original choice, but being a Wicked-Fan, I'm sad that I will never see Idina and Kristen together. But at least I have seen the German cast which (sorry, Idina and Kristen) tops everyone!

and many more which I can't think of right now (but I will surely!)

- Agree on Judy Holliday.
- Mega-agree on the original cast of "A Streetcar Named Desire".
- Would love to see Julie Andrews in "My Fair Lady".
- Would love to see Chita Rivera in "West Side Story".
-I would want to see the original productions of Stephen Sondheim's "Follies" (supposedly the most lavish thing ever seen on Broadway) and "A Little Night Music" as both are rarely revived.
The original production of "Sweeney Todd" with Angela Lansbury I own on DVD.
- Would want to see Laurence Olivier in something. I am actually going to choose "The Entertainer" over anything Shakespearean.

Oh wow. So many. I actually have a Great Aunt who lived in or outside of NYC for over 40 years and she actually got to see many of these shows.

Agree with "Born Yesterday", "A Streetcar Named Desire", and "The Glass Menagerie". Other plays I would like to have seen are:
-Neil Simon's Eugene Triology
-Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
-Noises Off
-Cat on A Hot Tin Roof

I would've loved to have seen the original Broadway musical productions of the following:
-My Fair Lady (just for the cast)
-West Side Story (mainly for Chita Rivera)
-Camelot
-The Sound of Music
-How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying
-Mame
-Cabaret
-Hair
-1776
-Company
-A Little Night Music
-A Chorus Line
-Chicago
-Annie
-Sweeney Todd
-Evita
-Dreamgirls (for Jennifer Holliday live)
-La Cage Aux Folles
-Sunday in the Park with George
-Aspects of Love
-Rent (just for the pop culture value)
-The Producers

Off-Broadway Musicals:
-My two favorite musicals of all-time: The Fantasticks and Little Shop of Horrors
-Songs for a New World

Starmites. I know it's not the best musical but it holds a special place in my heart.

This year's Emmys, give some love for The Shield

Not Broadway, but I would love to have seen John Cameron Mitchell on stage in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

After seeing Every Little Step (which I can't recommend strongly enough), I would love to be able to see the original cast of A Chorus Line.
