I'm going to see Spamalot next month in Los Angeles. I know it won the Tony in 2005 for best musical. How was it received by critics? Did most of them like it? Are there any numbers/moments that stand out? I want to be prepared when I go see it.

I saw it three times, once on Broadway, once in Vegas, and once last week here in San Francisco.

It's a really fun show; not deep or life changing or intensely moving or anything like that, but it definitely kept me entertained the entire time. It's one of those laugh out loud musicals, up there with The Producers and Xanadu.

My personal favorite numbers are "The Song That Goes Like This," "Find Your Grail," "Diva's Lament," "You Won't Succeed on Broadway," and "I'm All Alone."

The best way to experience the show is to just go in expecting to have a fun time. You won't be disappointed.
