BJ who is January's biggest competition in your opinion?
Why don't you want America Ferrera winning. I'd prefer America over Tina Fey I know that much. 4 major wins in a row for Tina Fey while others have won absolutely nothing is ridiculous.

Anna Paquin is the only one in that category besides Jones who I can see winning.
I just can't stand Ferrera. She has as much appeal as watching paint dry. I think Fey will win again, but I wouldn't mind seeing it go to MLP, Applegate, or Messing.

To be honest, Ferrera bores the hell out of me too, but I think the Tina Fey love-fest at this point is excessive.
There is no excess when it comes to the Tina Fey love-fest. She's so talented and beautiful.
I'm excited. I hope Winslet and Hawkins win. I also hope for an upset in a category! Best Actor-Drama would be great for that. Between Mickey Rourke, Frank Langella, and Leonardo DiCaprio it's a very tight race.
I do not want to disappoint our Japanese public, especially Godzilla. Hahaha! I'm just kidding, I know he doesn't care what humans do.
I am sorry all of you January Jones' fans, but I really hope Kyra Sedgwick is the winner tonight!!!!

I'll drink to that. You are one intelligent poster.
Yes, Babson!!! IMO, Kyra should have won the three Emmys she was nominated to!!
Hopefully, she will win her second GG tonight!

No I think Close deserved it last year. But I do feel Kyra should have won in 2006 over Hargitay. I also felt she was stronger than Field, but I think Driver should have won that year.
FYC- Emmys-30 Rock -Damages, Glenn Close, Kyra Sedgwick, Christina Applegate, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Keener, Eileen Atkins, Zeliko Ivanek

I don't get all the Anna Paquin hype for TB (And I like the show! LOL), frankly I think she is just lucky to be nominated. I know Tom was writing that because she has the movie star airs about her she's the shoo-in, but really winning that Oscar was like a lifetime ago at this point. And the only other notable thing I can think of is X-Men...even though Jan always had a good shot tonight, I'd still be shocked to see her win.

How did Mariska get in again? I thought they dropped her last year? Geesh I don't know who's going to win this category now. I'm going to go with Anna. Not really my preference but just considering all the things that come into play with these award shows.
Originally posted by Zembla: It's Mariska's last season I think, so that may have played a role in getting in. All the women nominated have won except Jan and Anna, no?
Sally Field hasn't won a Golden Globe for Brothers & Sisters.

I don't know anyone fully expected except Heath and the supposed 30 Rock sweep. Every pundit predicting these has so many wildly different opinions about what will happen, this seems to be the first time in awhile where there is no clear front runner for these categories.
