F.CK YEAH!!!!

COLIN FARRELL!!!!

Glad to be one of the few who predicted him...

Very well deserved....totally worth waiting for after all these years of "why the hell is he a celebrity?"....

Colin winning wasn't completely expected, but deserving.

Nikki had satellite problems too:

Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman presented BEST DIRECTOR - MOTION PICTURE, and Emma noted how the pair have worked with some of the best directors in the Industry. "We'd love to work with these directors again. And if you hire us, we do offer a hefty discount." But Hoffman shook his head and murmured, "No way". The award went to Danny Boyle for Slumdog Millionaire, which is cleaning up at the Golden Globes tonight. "Your mad pulsating affection for our film is much appreciated." Boyle also thanked Fox Searchlight's Peter Rice and Endeavor's Robert Newman "without whom I wouldn't be here".

Oh swell, my East Coast hotel's satellite dish just went on the fritz... I won't be able to see if Paramount's Brad Grey is suicidal yet.

What did Tina Fey say? I ran out during the middle and missed her speech.

Congrats to Colin! Even though he rambled on and on and on.

Why is it surprising that Colin Farrell won? Why didn't more people predict him?

I mean, I was shocked when they got nominated, the movie was like a million months old and nobody saw it...

but once you actually saw it you knew he was winning....Just as many people saw Last Chance Harvey and Dustin winning was not star whoring and not typical of young ass kissing Golden Globes....Javier Bardem did nothing to deserve that nomination, James Franco was not winning period and Brenda Gleeson was upstaged by Farrell and is still sort of an unknown (to some), Farrel is far more important...

That's the thing about this horrible year....almost everybody can win....nobody cares enough about a one single actor in a category except Heath Ledger...

Oh thank god, it just came back on. I literally just got scared for a sec. Phew... I'm assuming Colin Farell won because I saw him walk off the stage. Surprise! Alright, now we're back.

I seriously have no idea if it was my cable company or my local NBC station, but man, ugh... roflmao
