I'm just really happy January Jones got in and I think she has a great chance to win.

I really like the Supporting Actress category, but out of all the talented actresses in comedy series they couldn't nominate even one of them!

For Your Grammy Consideration:
Kristin Chenoweth - in all eligible categories

Is no one supporting Mary Louise Parker because she already won in 2006?

I agree. She is doing her best work since season one.

I personally don't think that's saying much.

Definitely agree. People seem to forget that Fey is the "defending champion" at the Globes. And considering both the year she's had AND her stellar work on 30 ROCK's current season, i think she definitely deserved her nomination. All you have to do is watch the Oprah episode and last week's "Reunion" to see that she totally deserved her nom.

So what if she's the defending champion? She should just get an automatic in the next year? Just because she won the globe once doesn't mean she was most deserving either. Considering the year she's had? Which has had more to do with the buzz about Sarah Palin in my humble opinion. I also think that calling her acting "stellar work" on 30 Rock this season is a bit too generous. To each his own.

I still find nothing remarkable about Christina's work on "Samantha Who". But again to each his own.

The episode she won the Emmy with "Sandwich Day" aired in the past year, in the time range of voting. She's also done awards-worthy work in "Believe in The Stars", "Episode 210", "MILF Island", "Reunion" and "Cooter" which hve all aired this this year. In fact, I think her best work as an actress was displayed in this past year. So, with or without Palin she'd be completely deserving in my book.

But I do agree about Applegate though. Horrendous show, mediocre performance.

Congrats Kristen! All the PD haters can (SPOILER ALERT) Suck it!

roflmao Okay. Whatever you say. boogie

But in all honesty you've always defended America Ferrera to the bitter even when she's had lacklustre performances so again I really don't think it's saying much. All in my humble opinion.

When I defend her work, it's b/c I think she's worth the trouble. Her work this season has been worth that, along with the nominations that she continues to receive.

I was the first and loudest who cried foul over America's Emmy nom this yr (I still stand by it), but this season is really good and she and the cast has been on pt. (what last season should've been like). So she deserves her nomination this yr and another Emmy nom too.

I'm still blown away that Jonathan Rhys Meyers gets a nomination from "The Tudors" but Natalie Dormer doesn't.

Yeah Tina's emmy submission (Sandwich Day) for which she won falls in this Golden Globes period. That's gonna help. That was excellent work on her part. As does her emmy worthy performance in Believe in the Stars. (Cooter, Episode 210, MILF Island, and Succession were all also good episodes for her.)

I loved MLP this season! Especially "Little Boats" and the finale. Brilliant. I think she's the best actress in the group, but not necessarily the funniest. I like when true comediennes win the comedy category.

Debra Messing: haven't watched all her new show but what I've seen, if she didn't get a win with Will and Grace she won't get a win for this... She was better as Grace.

Christina Applegate, again, haven't watched all of it, but the ones I've seen weren't horrible, and she does carry that show. Her supporting cast is good, but the show is all about her.

America Ferrera: Haven't seen it all, but I understand why she's being nominated, even if I don't like the show very much.

In short. I'm rooting for Fey or Parker, but they've both won for their roles before so I won't be so torn if they don't get a win again.

Heh... Well, your QB got his Heisman today, even if ours got more 1st place votes.

We'll see about the whole destruction thing on Jan. 8th, 'kay? roflmao

On-topic: Not really getting the JRM inclusion and "Pushing Daisies" should have really gotten "Entourage"'s spot. Yay! for NPH's nom. By the way, was it silly of me to think Zachary Levi of "Chuck" could have gotten in? Heh...

You have to be kidding me.

Tina Fey and Christina Applegate are the 2 best comedic actresses on TV right now. To suggest they got in due to the Palin impersonation or breast cancer is absurd. Who else deserves to be there over them? The yesterdays news Housewives? Get over it. People are so done with that show.

The TV noms are pretty good but I am REALLY BUMMED that my 2 favorite comedic supporting actresses Jane Krakowski in 30 Rock and Jennifer Esposito in Samantha Who? continue to be snubbed for their hilarous scene stealing work. I also think Samantha Who? deserved a Best Series nod over Californications, Weeds, and Entourage.

Christina just plays a dumb blonde. Nothing revolutionary there in my humble opinion. My feelings on Tina Fey are well known so I won't re-hash them again.

The Golden Globes are all about buzz so to act as if it's all about talent or who is most worthy of recognition is what's really absurd here.

Furthermore, if Tina Fey and Christina Applegate managed to garner nominations then Julia Louis Dreyfus sure as hell deserved one.

I guess I watch a different show then you because Samantha is far from a dumb blonde. Maybe Kelly Bundy was a dumb blonde, but Samantha is far from it.
