Okkkay, look I understand I am really annoying about posting up people who should win. But this woman is overdue! She is the best cast member of the show "Desperate Housewives". But Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman won over her? WHY?! Her character is funny, perfect, loveable, but no one recognizes her...(sigh)
She had 3 nominations but never won?? And she wasnt nominated this year. You don't understand this, she needs the awards attention before the show is over and the Emmys could reward her for the 5th season, just please give the GG, Emmy and SAG to her, she's overdue for them. Give her back the buzz she deserved...... and we will shut our mouths.

I completely agree with everythin you said. She deserves to get some recognition for playing this role. She has yet to win any major award and I am so mad that she is always looked over by other actresses, not only her cast mates but other actresses on other shows.
She is a da*n good actress and she should get a nomination again for something. So if this season goes well, which with the hype surrounding it. I think she can get the GG nomination. So hopefully this year she will I was shocked that she didn't get anything last year or the year before. And all the years the the show DH has been on all the nomination buzz was around her and yet she hasn't won a single award yet. I am so fed up with her looser or not getting nominated. Seriously people, she's the best actress on TV BY FAR! And she should get at least another nomination before the series goes off the air.
Give Marcia a darn award already!

Well I think voter sympathy will play a major part in it, but she's also very good on Samantha Who? A lot of people will like to see Applegate get some kind of recognition after all that she's been through and who better to do it than the Globes (she's never won a Globe before...not that she's really ever deserved to though)

If people wanted to reward her so badly I don't get why the Emmys didn't just do it? The timing was so right for that.
Christina is also miles better than Tina Fey.
I think it's so lame to want to reward someone for what they've "been through". I hope the Globe voters don't fall for that. I hope they nominate the best of the bunch the next go round.

But back to are point, my opinion is that desperate housewives wont ever score any major nominations again till the last season where they wont be awarded(i hope im wrong).....It is really a shame and stupid! I think voters think the nominations way too much... The voters give so much study for the choices they make which results in loosing the most important rule: "AWARD THE BETTER ONE"....!!!! (this doesent go only for desperate housewives but for other shows too).... To be more exact: Assumably that someone like Paris Hilton (the key word being assuming) gave an obviously outstanding performance as an actress in some show and Meryl Streep appeared for 2 seconds in another show, who do u think would have the highest propability of being nominated and winning??? (btw my example is extreme to make my point more obvious which is that the acting awards arent based on performance)...The only awards that in my opinion are almost 100% fair are the SAG,DGA etc. because who is to judge better a director or an actor than someone actually doing the same job and experiencing first hand the difficulties...

For the most part this seems true. But why in the hell did they reward Tina Fey this year if it goes by actual performance?
