Felicity never won GG for her work on DH, she won for Transamerica.

Marcia Cross has the best storyline out of four housewives, but to me she doesn't have as many kick-ass performances as Felicity or even Teri. And I think sometimes she could execute Bree's characterization better than she already did.

Teri has had the most annoying storyline since season 2, but IMO she has a great deal of memorable acting, comedic and dramatic one.

There's just only one episode from season 5 as of now, which it cannot define anything yet. But I have a weird hunch that Eva Longoria might be the only lady from the show to crack the nominations in GG race this year. There's no buzz about her dramatic change now, but she seems to be the center of this season.

I love DH, so I will be more than ecstatically happy to see anyone get nominated and win.

Only Eva making it into the Golden Globes this year would be a farce. She's not really that great. Her "great" performance from sunday's premiere was simply a retread of that other performance from last season where she got choked up about the blindness being tough on her too. It wasn't anything revolutionary.

I don't think she's a good actress. Although I could see why someone would vote for her too - buzz. Amy Poehler was completely the star of Baby Mama.

Marcia Cross doesn't deserve anything even close to a Golden Globe nomination for this season of Desperate Housewives. She is being outshone by all 3 of her co-leads and by her 2 supporting stars (though I believe it may be the fault of the writers, honestly, as Cross as a pretty great actress.) Perhaps with better material later this year, but honestly, Eva Longoria Parker is the MVP thus far.

I don't think any of those actresses from Desperate Housewives are deserving of anything yet. I need to see some more of the season.

Lynette's been nothing but an annoying meddler so hardly anything award-worthy for Felicity Huffman.

Susan has just gotten her groove on in the sack which has been sexy but hardly note-worthy.

Gaby has just simply longed for the days when she was rich. This week she harped some more about the car being their last sense of wealth. Then she had that little roll on the ground with Susan. Again, nothing award-worthy from Longoria.

Marcia Cross is nearly the best actress on the show, but she is given crap the first few eppys because she is under the others' shadow, but her storyline is very interesting, hopefully she is given good material this season that could get her a GG nod and even an Emmy nod....

No, I think she is way over due for any nomination again not just a GG nom. The last episode was possably so far the best episode she can submit that episode or the one they are showing on Sunday where she goes back to her drinking in flashbacks. Maybe she can get a nom this year she has been so great on this show and people are stupid to not know how talented she really is.

That's because Marc Cherry and co. haven't given her or Teri Hatcher jack to do. A person can only do so much with what they're given and Teri and Marcia haven't been given anything this season.

But think positive. Mary Louise Parker had a mediocre season and still managed the golden globe, SAG and emmy nominations earlier this year. Award shows these days are hardly about rewarding the best anymore.

Cougar, you may think that Mary-Louise Parker herself had a mediocre season, but she was amazing during the whole third season, even when the material wasn't that amazing. She deserves to be nominated again this year and she deserves to beat Marcia.

My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.

Even some of the die-hard Mary Louise Parker fans admitted on the forum here that she didn't have a great season for which she received those nominations.

Housewives and other shows have only aired 7 or so episodes so far this season so to say that Mary Louise Parker deserves to beat anybody is hogwash.

It maybe Hogwash to you, but Parker had a brilliant Fourth season and has multiple tapes that she could submit to Emmy voters.

The Academy has been over DH for a while now and I truly believe that Cross has no chance to win an Emmy. She could get a Globe nod, but I doubt it when you have Fey, Parker, Dreyfus, and Applegate all in the running.

As for the members of this forum saying that Parker didn't have a great season. Well, I disagree, just because Weeds isn't always Laugh out Loud funny, doesn't mean that Parker wasn't amazing. No matter how bad the scripts can get on Weeds, Parker is always amazing. Personally, I thought her tape at this years Emmy Awards was a hell of alot better than Fey.

I realize that Parker had a great 4th season. My point is simply that the rest of the shows on television haven't even aired half their episodes yet for this season. So to say that Mary Louise Parker deserves to beat someone is premature.

I'll be with you.

The Golden Globes need to ditch America Ferrera for sure and I wouldn't mind if they dropped Christina Applegate too. They need to mix up things this year in this category they really do.

As usual I'll be crossing my fingers and holding my breath for Marcia in the morning. Hopefully I won't have to break something this year and instead I hear her name!

Nothing, once again nothing for DH or Marcia.

This is why I hate every award show that's made, they all don't make any sense to me.
