New mothers Salma Hayek, Amy Poehler and Jennifer Lopez and newly slimmed down Seth Rogen join previously announced Simon Baker, Drew Barrymore and Sacha Baron Cohen as presenters at "The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards," to be telecast by NBC on Jan. 11 from the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Steven Spielberg is the Hollywood Foreign Press Assn.'s recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his "outstanding contribution to the entertainment field."
They need to start adding some more buzzworthy celebs if they hope to get any ratings. Poehler and Rogen are a good start, but they should really be booking the likes of Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, or Christina Applegate (it'd be really amazing if they could book Jennifer Hudson). These are the celebs that sell magazines; they're gonna be the celebs that get ratings.
I'm not really complaining, I'm just adding some advisement. I personally love everyone who's been announced so far. They're some of my favorite celebrities of the past decade. I'm just hoping something happens that will make the rest of America's TV viewers care about and want to watch the Globes as much as we do.
It will be interesting to see if Julie Christie and Marion Coltiard are back to present the Film Best Actor Awards since they both won Best Actress for Films last year.
Daniel Day Lewis is good about presenting when he has won the previous year and Johnny Depp will most likely present as well.
And finally Cate Blanchett who won Best Supporting Actress.... She is good about presenting as well and her film is nominated for 5 globes though she is not one of those this year...

Apparently Katie Holmes is not attending with Tom Cruise. She has to be in NY for her play. I hope she makes it to the oscars as a presenter though. For whatever the reason, she´s a huge star now.

I guess this means Dianne Wiest will not be attending the Globes either.
For Your Grammy Consideration: Kristin Chenoweth - in all eligible categories

All My Sons closes on the 11th. Holmes and Wiest could appear in the final show in the afternoon and still make it to LA by the start of the awards.
