Another one announced theirs...

"The ballots have been counted (all 15 of 'em), and the results are official: members of the North Texas Film Critics Association have picked Slumdog Millionaire as their favorite film of 2008.

Danny Boyle, who directed Slumdog, also gets the nod for best director.

Rounding out the tally:

* Best Actor: Frank Langella, in Frost/Nixon

* Best Actress: Meryl Streep, in Doubt

* Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger, in The Dark Knight

* Best Supporting Actress: Amy Adams, in Doubt

* Best Cinematography: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

* Best Animated Film (by unanimous decision): WALL-E

* Best Documentary: Young @ Heart

* Best Foreign Language Film: Let the Right One In

Some boring winners as usual in the critic groups. However i am surprised about the win for Frank Langella.

I haven't seen Amy Adams win anything outside of this award.

Best supporting actor Javier Bardem (No Country again)

Best supporting actress Tilda Swinton (for Michael Clayton)

Best animated film: Ratatouille

Best foreign language film: The Kite Runner

Best cinematography tie, this time between No Country and Atonement

best documentary award goes to The King of Kong: A Fistfull of Quarters.
