Las Vegas critics pick ‘Frost/Nixon’ Ron Howard drama wins six awards By ERIN MAXWELL
Ron Howard’s “Frost/Nixon” won best-feature honors at the Las Vegas Film Critics Society’s Sierra Awards. Star Frank Langella earned two trophies, winning for best actor and the William Holden Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Frost/Nixon” nabbed a total of six awards, including director for Howard, screenplay by Peter Morgan and editing by Daniel Hanley and Mike Hill.
Kate Winslet won the best actress award for her turns in both “The Reader” and “Revolutionary Road.” Her “Reader” co-star, David Kross, received the Youth in Film prize.
The Sierra Awards are presented by journalists from online, print, radio and TV media outlets.

The cinematography and art direction awards going to BB sounds like my kind of film. Those are the two won by Days of Heaven. Coincidentally, the score in the clips is also in that film. So happy to see it win the Costume award as well, and not the Duchess.
