If Blanchett is missing everywhere I think it becomes hard to say that she is missing at all.
P.S. (Though maybe I will think differently after seeing the movie.)

I just dont understand all these snubs to her though. For the most part(of what i read so far and the clips i have seen)..she outacted Pitt and had the more emotional scenes in Benjamin Button. I think she is constantly being overlooked is because she was a double nominee earlier this year at the Oscars..as well as with the other 4 major awards groups...and she won or was nominated in every other critic awards group. I seriousely think it is all bull**** with this snubbing!!
Once again, the Brits show again how wonderful they are with taste.
One of the GREAT tragedies this awards season was how the American film critics awards rallied around the overrated Sally Hawkins in near uniformity at the expense of the wonderful Kristen Scott Thomas.
Hawkins who won nearly every major American film critics award wasnt even a BAFTA nominee in her own country and was rightfully beaten by Kristen Scott Thomas here and at the BAFTA noms and European Film Awards.
Just another example how Mike Leigh has cast a spell over American critics.
Kate gets another win to continue her momentum and HOORAY to Tilda who was the ONLY thing about Benjamin Button I could like.
