SAG announces key dates for kudos

The Screen Actors Guild will announce nominations for its 16th annual SAG Awards on Dec. 17.

Other key deadlines and events:

July 13: Submissions open.

Oct. 28: Submissions close.

Nov. 25: Nomination ballots mailed.

Dec. 14: Nomination ballots due at the elections firm by 5 p.m. PT.

Dec. 17: Nominations announced.

Dec. 29: Final ballots mailed to members.

Jan. 21: Final ballots due at the elections firm by noon PT.

The kudocast, which honors perfs in both film and TV, will air simultaneously on TNT and TBS on Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. ET/PT

The SAG Awards nominations will be announced just two days after the Golden Globes nominations. And the SAG Awards ceremony will be held just six days after the Golden Globes. We'll get dizzy trying to keep up.

I know I'm waaaaaaaaaaay premature, but here are my predix for the Comedy and Drama TV ensemble categories for the SAG awards 2010

I hate that these are taking place/being shown on a Saturday.
